WOWWW. I cannot recommend this meditation enough. I felt such a release as my body started crying for no reason but the meditation. Afterwards, I felt a euphoric state, that felt soooo good. I am going to try the challenge thank you.

So much power, it gives joy. Nothing is left to explore, once you have this joy, everything else seems just fine but this meditation is supreme. I fill myself witb joy and then start my day and night. Everything and everyone seems happy. And i am able to deal with them with love. So they come again and again to me.

This is my everyday routine now; generally I’m more at ease at work and with those I relate and interact with. It offers some an unexplainable level of calmness and cools down the body fully after a workout. Glad to have come across Sadhguru.🙏🏾❤

Who else start to cry? This is my second time doing this meditation mind you I love meditation this has mad me cry both times I have this vision where someone is putting a dot on my forehead or this time I was a baby pulling a necklace off my mother this to me is a powerful meditation

I like this meditation 🧘‍♂️ When Sadhguru sing, I see a lot of colours. Beautiful colours. The only problem I have, is when I say “I am not the body, I am not even the mind”. My throat really hurts. After that, everything is okay. Thank you 🙏

I had a similar issue but it was more so that it was hard for me to breath in and out while speaking and the air coming in my nose began to feel very cold and made the tip of my nose feel freezing and painful.. when I just say it inside my mind it helps

Thank you very much for this meditation practice. I've been doing it for years now, either every morning or a couple of mornings per week, and it has really helped me a lot. I manage to start the day much more relaxed and unnecessary stress just falls off me. I also just recently finished my song called A Story of Life on Earth, where I got inspired by the neutral "aaaaaa" sound from this meditation and added something similar to the middle part of the song. So, thank you 🙏🙏🙏

(2) Oh fool ! Give up your thirst to amass wealth, devote your mind to thoughts to the Real. Be content with what comes through actions already performed in the past. naariistanabhara naabhiideshaM dRishhTvaa maagaamohaavesham. etanmaaMsaavasaadi vikaaraM manasi vichintaya vaaraM vaaram. .. (3) Do not get drowned in delusion by going wild with passions and lust by seeing a woman's navel and chest. These are nothing but a modification of flesh. (5) So long as a man is fit and able to support his family, see the affection all those around him show. But no one at home cares to even have a word with him when his body totters due to old age. yaavatpavano nivasati dehe taavatpRichchhati kushalaM gehe . gatavati vaayau dehaapaaye bhaaryaa bibhyati tasminkaaye .. (6) When one is alive, his family members enquire kindly about his welfare. But when the soul departs from the body, even his wife runs away in fear of the corpse. baalastaavatkriiDaasaktaH taruNastaavattaruNiisaktaH . vRiddhastaavachchintaasaktaH pare brahmaNi ko.api na saktaH .. (7) The childhood is lost by attachment to playfulness. Youth is lost by attachment to woman. Old age passes away by thinking over many past things. But there is hardly anyone who wants to be lost in parabrahmam. kaate kaantaa kaste putraH saMsaaro.ayamatiiva vichitraH . kasya tvaM kaH kuta aayaataH tattvaM chintaya tadiha bhraataH .. (8)

Hello. I have been doing this practice for 4 days. Is it normal to feel something in the center of the forehead when the music starts playing and when Sadguru sings? This sensation is like a moving nerves. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you.

Do what you feel is best and what works for you. There is no one 'right' way. It sounds like you want to explore more meditations and if so... do it!

I love this kriya, but I dont understand why i have to keep the face slightly upturned, I think it is better to do shambhabi mudra, because it has the same benefit and it is more confortable and the spine keep lengthened, also when the guy of the video repeats the sentences it is very fast to me and i breath very quick, i need to breath slowly and repeat my self the sentence, finally the mantra aaaa is very short, when i become to feel the vibration the guy ends up. This is my felling but i love it. Thank you so mucho to share. namaste

That's Bhajagovindam, a vishnevite bhajan written by a philosopher Adi Shankaracharya. That's basically Monoism or non-dualism. However, this one praises the lord Vishnu. His another name is Govind. :-) I think, Shankara couldn't just ignore the gods when he devised his philosophy because you know the gods are always politically strong at any space and at any time. But no one at home cares to even have a word with him when his body totters due to old age. yAvatpavano nivasati dehe tAvatpRRichChati kushalaM gehe | gatavati vAyau dehApAye bhAryA bibhyati tasminkAye || 6|| When one is alive, his family members enquire kindly about his welfare. Brother, ponder over these truths. satsa~Ngatve nissa~NgatvaM nissa~Ngatve nirmohatvam | nirmohatve nishchalatattvaM nishchalatattve jIvanmuktiH || 9|| From satsanga, company of good people, comes non-attachment, from non-attachment comes freedom from delusion, which leads to self-settledness. From self-settledness comes JIvan muktI. vayasigate kaH kAmavikAraH shuShke nIre kaH kAsAraH | kShINevitte kaH parivAraH j~nAte tattve kaH saMsAraH || 10|| What good is lust when youth has fled ? What use is a lake which has no water ? Where are the relatives when wealth is gone ? Where is samsAra, the world, when the Truth is known ? mA kuru dhana jana yauvana garvaM harati nimeShAtkAlaH sarvam | mAyAmayamidamakhilaM hitvA var budhvA brahmapadaM tvaM pravisha viditvA || 11|| Do not boast of wealth, friends, and youth. Each one of these are destroyed within a minute by time. Free yourself from the illusion of the world of Maya and attain the timeless Truth. dinayAminyau sAyaM prAtaH shishiravasantau punarAyAtaH | kAlaH krIDati gachChatyAyuH tadapi na mu~nchatyAshAvAyuH || 12|| Daylight and darkness, dusk and dawn, winter and springtime come and go. Time plays and life ebbs away. Stanza attributed to Subodha. kurute ga~NgAsAgaragamanaM vrataparipAlanamathavA dAnam | j~nAnavihInaH sarvamatena muktiM na bhajati janmashatena || 17|| var bhajati na muktiM One may go to Gangasagar, observe fasts, and give away riches in charity ! Yet, devoid of jnana, nothing can give mukti even at the end of a hundred births. Stanza attributed to vArtikakAra. sura maMdira taru mUla nivAsaH shayyA bhUtala majinaM vAsaH | sarva parigraha bhoga tyAgaH kasya sukhaM na karoti virAgaH || 18|| Take your residence in a temple or below a tree, wear the deerskin for the dress, and sleep with mother earth as your bed. Give up all attachments and renounce all comforts. Blessed with such vairgya, could any fail to be content ? Stanza attributed to nityAnanda. yogarato vAbhogaratovA sa~Ngarato vA sa~NgavihInaH | yasya brahmaNi ramate chittaM nandati nandati nandatyeva || 19|| One may take delight in yoga or bhoga, may have attachment or detachment. But only he whose mind steadily delights in Brahman enjoys bliss, no one else.

QUESTION: My body are shaking and goes into different mudras. The arms moves to different oppositions as well as different hand mudras. It feels wonderful and my head seems to be filled with energy. I could probably force to sit totally still. In the video it states "...do not pay attention to the activity of the mind or body. Whatever is happening in your body or your mind, just ignore it and simply sit there. Does this mean that it is totally fine to let my body do whatever it wants to do?

Is the breathing speed here important? I find the first stage very stressful because I want to breathe considerably slower. Should I set up a different way to set a timer for myself than using this video or is this the speed I should be breathing at?

Amazing if you have Pulse oximeters try. How many points pulse and sp02 drops 20 to 40% depending on how much you relax, scary but it's scientifically proven that this is normal in extremely relaxed state of mind. Extremely powerful.

Starting 3:37 Day 1: Completed first session of it, felt no immediate noticable effect like crying or anything, though i was hoping something to happen...

Day 2: done with the #2 session,right after waking up. Still not crying tears of joy. In between these two sessions, i felt more in the present and did ignore few minor things which would sometimes irritates me, the other time, i stopped myself from keep over reacting to some triggering situation, sooner than i use too.... The thing is I'm feeling myself in present and taking control of the emotions and deciding if i want to react it that way or not.... Earlier it was so impulsive...

Day 3/ Session 3: Feels like having some control over my anger issues, will power, maybe due to the fact it's helping me to stay in present more.

Day 4/Session 4: just done with it, nothing unusual or anything, skipped yesterday dinner over some issues, today nothing really triggering happened, though whole day was procasting things i should be working on as the deadline is in front of me and hardly finished any task towards it

Day 5/ Session 5: From last session, haven't faced any anger issues or got irritated. Was more productive than previous day's (maybe due to the deadline coming soon). Haven't moved any body parts for the whole session for the first time.

Day 6/Session 6: No body movement, faced towards east direction, proper hand 👌 posture (unable to recall, what it is called) From the last session, the productivity was down, lot of procrastination. No anger issues. While doing the kriya, felt some sensation around the left cheek... Plus I listening to some random videos of Sandhguru, feeling a bit sceptical about him. ( is Isha kriya is from some old yoga books or designed/innovated/invented by him?)

Tonight was my first meditation. I found my left forearm ached painfully. During the song my arms jerked around. Also very mild nausea. I reckon that my mind is fighting my will since it was a first attempt. I also felt - I don't know how to explain it - no weight, floaty, not there, somewhere else, pressure, not pressure. I don't know. It didn't feel like any out of body that I've experienced before so I don't think it was that. I look forward to observing my experience tomorrow.

Sound "OM" is not correct - it is in reality "AUM". When chanting, you should clearly chant "Aaaaa..Uuuuu..Mmmm". Sound "Aaaa" is the sound of Lord Vishnu i.e. Maintenance and its vibrations originate just beneath the navel and spreads upwards in the body. Sound "Uuuu" is the sound of Lord Brahma i.e. Creation and it's vibrations originate at the junction of your lungs and diaphragm in the middle and spread upwards. Sound "Mmmm" is the sound of Lord Mahesh i.e sound of Destruction and it's vibrations originate at the pit of your throat and spread upwards till the tip of your nose.
