Utahime is the scarred teacher from Kyoto (Todo’s school) that Gojo teases in season one. Mei Mei is the lady from season one with a braid on her face she was also in JJK zero killing curses with an axe. Shoko is the doctor from season one who was gonna dissect Yuji’s body after Sukuna ripped his heart out. The house got destroyed because Gojo used Blue to destroy it. Zen’in is Maki’s last name (Megumi is a Zen’in too). Dude named Fushiguro is voiced by Aokiji.

Well-spotted on the familiarity of Fushiguro Touji’s voice. He is in fact in One Piece as Aokiji, and Attack on Titan as Zeke. Takehito Koyasu is one of the most prolific voice actors (man has pages of credits under his name) and surely one of the most well-known voices in the industry (I hadn’t known prior to watching episode 1 and as soon as Fushiguro spoke, my mind went oh god it’s Koyasu) Prepare yourself for this season, it’s gonna be wild.

So for the Digimon thing, an explanation... Digimon can evolve (or Digivolve [Digital Evolution]) and unlike pokemon it isn't a 1 way path and Digimons can devolve back to a previous form, an Iconic Digimon is Agumon, it Digivolves from Koromon which is like it's baby form and Agumon can digivolve into Greymon and Greymon can digivolve into MetalGreymon but can also digivolve into SkullGreymon which is the "evil" version, so Gojo is saying that we don't want a SkullGreymon situation and want to turn Tengen back to Koromon State. kinda nostalgic getting to talk about Digimon
