Ishitani has the craziest collection of shop tools I've ever seen, and I love it. Every video has some machine or attachment I've never seen before. Rock solid scissor-lift workbench? Sure, why not. Who needs a dado stack? Just use the world's thickest blade. Angled cut? Why tilt your table saw blade when you can just tilt the entire freaking table 🤣 Most makers who value their fingers would probably run away screaming, but there's just such a calm familiarity with every device, and it all integrates so seamlessly into the workflow. I also respect the balance between power and hand tools - Stuff Gets Done without wasting effort, but then he always goes the extra mile to put that craftsmanship back into the final stages, and the result is understated perfection.
