Yeah mark is right about the liquid N2, you can put your hand in it. It's called the Leidenfrost effect. Basically the same way you can run your hand through a fire very quickly. I regularly get backsplash of N2 when pouring in lab, as long as it doesn't pool on you you're completely fine. If you get more than just a little tiny bit of splash and you get enough for a drop to form and it settles somewhere on your body, you're in trouble though. The way they've done it is so dangerous though hahaha I can't believe Mark let Speed touch the pot lmao. Also sublimation is solid--> gas just btw. liquid to gas is just vaporization
