Last 5 minutes of the third quarter warriors started playing tighter defense and finishing possessions with REBOUNDS which has been the key to this series. They broke Boston's rhythm while continuing to play team basketball on the other end. They continued that into the 4th Quarter and that is why they won.

True but boston also beat itself those last 5 minutes. During their run they were willing passers and everyone contributed and even passed open shots to their teammates for an even better shot. Right after the lead golden state defense got stronger but boston did not even try to create opportunities for their teammates. They were either gased out or too inexperienced. Often teams and players after a good team-run will start thinking ah we can do it in isolation also just to fail. Not sure what aspects here apply. Boston overall is not experienced enough and do a lot of mistakes that already shown during miami series. Compare this with teams like lakers, spurs, dallas, miami during kobe time and those teams did much less mistakes.

Boston tried to send double to Curry just like they did for Durant. Okay he had an off night in the shooting, but his teammates were ready to score at home, Durant forced too many shots on the other end Also the Warriors targeted Marcus Smart, everytime they had his defender help defense in the paint and leaving Smart open for 3 cause they know he ain’t reliable. Clearly a chess match between Kerr and Udoka

Even that aspect with smart was talked about in a couple Gary payton interviews like with JJ recently. GP literally said GSW is too much of a threat even with the ball out of stephs hands...and they still have to throw doubles at him all night to get him to pass/take bad looks. Boston cant manage that on their end...if they shut down smart/brown. One or the other if not both....the celtics have a hard time winning...unless they get like 5 3pm out of white and horford. Like expecting 4 3pm at least from those guys or horford EACH while WIGGINS is living above the rim. Isnt going to cut it. I missed the game bc of work...but when i saw 50 paint points vs 34 or w.e for boston...and GSW even got more 3PA up...i knew boston was "living" at the line. Even on the road they got double FTA than GSW

I’m so surprised at this outcome. Boston basically had this game after that third quarter run but the TOs, missed fts, and bad shots is really killing them. This is the first quarter the warriors won which is why they didn’t get killed as bad in third and was able to be up by 1. He did great passing and moving the ball around so that the offence can be efficient , another thing he did amazing in last night was being a decoy, spreading out the Celtics defence by having to double him and constantly habe everyone focused on him, therefore opening up EVERYTHING for the rest of his teammates! He did good getting to the freethrow line shooting the midrange and driving to the basket scoring 16 pts, so he still did good scoring it just wasn't up to his level because his 3 pointers weren't falling. Lastly he was also great on defence AS USUAL, it's something people tend not to ever notice but he's A GREAT DEFENDER, he did great on defence. He was switching very well moving his feet well and being aggressive. Overall he did great with everything but shooting from 3.

Steph is an all time great . The Celtics figured that if they double Steph and forced him to get rid of the ball their chances of winning the game would be better . As it turned out , that was the wrong game plan because it allowed Andrew Wiggins to go one on one the entire game and he took advantage . Andrew Wiggins shined last night but it was the attention payed to Steph that allowed he to have the game of his life . Steph presence won the game for the warriors .
