Players are extending their playing careers now past the age of 30 because of the advancement of sports science education and proper nutrition and technology being invested into the sports today. Rafael Nadal just won two Grand Slams and he is in his mid 30s. LeBron is still one of the best players and he's heading into 40. But what matters also is how a player plays their respective game... Players who expend a lot of energy and movement and require athleticism to perform at their best will decrease in performance heading into their early 30s, whereas players like LeBron, Steph, Klay don't rely heavily on athleticism but passing, shooting, dribbling and control etc.

tim legler, THANK YOU, what a great break down of X & Os, eye that was amazing to see. i agree, and this is what directv shore up in currys stat sheet , he takes 1 & sometimes 2 players with him 40 feet from basket & opens up so much space for his team mates to score plus he’s face guarded 50 feet away, double & triple teamed & still averages 30 points a game!!! Few players can handle double training so well and still maintain their scoring, or they are gassed on defense & Curry in great shape in his thirties is still playing solid defense too! what an All star ⭐️

The best player that only has 1 finals MVP? How does that work?
@deezosaintloyal
@deezosaintloyal Жыл бұрын
@@sontho6995 Steph Curry isn’t a selfish player. He isn’t ball dominant, he doesn’t call for ISO’s, he doesn’t force his team to trade for shooters, he allows/allowed Draymond, Iggy, Poole, Livingston, Barbosa, etc to run point guard while he plays off ball. He’s effective off ball and on ball. He puts the team first… he doesn’t put himself first. He’s not chasing meaningless regular season records or all time scoring titles. So I’m not surprised that he only has 1 Finals MVP. And I’m sure he doesn’t care much as you do. He’s happy with winning. He went to 6 Finals in the last 10 years and won 4. He has a WINNING finals percentage. That’s what great players do. They get to the finals and WIN more than they LOSE.

The Golden State Warriors revolve around Curry but to be honest you really need Draymond and Klay there. Draymond helps a lot, he isn't a scorer. Just like Dennis Rodman. Klay helps with the shooting, too. They are the trio to beat. Now add Jordan Poole into that equation and they are hard to beat.
