Jokic is a complete player, he also played very solid deffence in playoffs and that is the best indicator where this whole team goes, yes they choked in the 7th against portland but they are still very, very young, they still dont realize how good they are, it is still all process of growing. PS you all need to stop with stuff like they are not clutch, that they need closer, because you are comparing them with a grown up teams, Jokic and Murray are 24 and 22, Dame and CJ are 29, 28, steph and klay 31, 29, leonard 28, butler 30, middleton 28, harden, paul, 30,34, lou williams 33. if you wanna be fair, compare them in clutch performances with embid and simmons, or giannis, or KAT, all those guys melts down much more under preasure than Jokic and Murray, which we all saw in this playoffs

Jokic is a top 10 player to me. He's underrated as hell. Seeing a point center with his skill set is remarkable. Him, Embid, Giannis, and AD prove the big is not dead yet. On your Pistons point. We were a healthy Isiah Thomas away from a 3 peat.

Isiah Thomas never beat out Magic in first team all nba. He made it 3 times along with Magic in 84’ 85’ and 86’ and was second team in 87’ due to Jordan finally eclipsing him

Jokic not top 5, BUT Jokic top 1/2 in center position! So yeah, lebron, kd, steff, kawhi, gianis thats five better "players". But give me center i pick JOKIC/A DAVIS/EMBIID. HE IS THERE

Isiah didn't replace Magic as 1st team all nba those two years. They both were 1st team all nba those years. When MJ came in he took over Isiah's spot as 1st team all nba and Magic kept his spot.

Jokic had a fabulous playoff run this year, what did the Nuggets in was the absence of a closer or finisher! Jokic can do many things on a basketball court, but closing a game may not be one of them.
@astriddececco30055 жыл бұрын
He needs a partner to help him. Murray maybe is that, but he is too inconsistent.

The Denver Nuggets went a league best 30-14 in clutch games this year and Nikola Jokic shot 50/42/81 and had the highest assist percentage in the clutch. He also had 3 or 4 game winning baskets too, I think he's fine.
@enigmathegrayman29535 жыл бұрын
Chauncey Trillups I’m speaking of situational closing, something a stat sheet cannot track. Nuggets need a player if not Jamal Murray who can break a defender down off the dribble and create his own shot if need be! Jokic IS just fine, but it IS fair to think that he must be coupled with one or two other finishers on the roster!

In a close playoff series the trailblazers had a finisher, and beat a team that on paper was much more superior but lacked a closer.....facts!!

The pistons were the champions of the 1987-88 season, the nba and the lakers fraudulently pretended otherwise, the word of those in authority does not trump reality, the lakers got fraudulant calls in their favor, just as they did the previous year against the Celtics, although against the pistons they were actually allowed to run into an opposing player while their fans stormed the court after a phantom foul, that marked the beginning of the end of legitimate basketball in the nba, which of course climaxed with the greatest shoe salesman of all time michael jordan, also jews kept Arvydas Sabonis, the best basketball player in history, out of the NBA during his prime in the 1980s, but that year he did lead the soviet team over david robinson and the us team to win the gold medal in the olympics

2:29 the only series where they couldn't outgun the Celtics was the 1984 finals when after Game 4 it became rugged. And in the 1985 finals Game 1 the Celtics actually outgunned the Lakers but other than that I agree

Isiah Thomas never beat out Magic Johnson Brother, the NBA can go either 2 PGs or 2 SGs same with the forward position, example we have seen KD & LeBron both make All NBA 1st team selections. I know we all make errors but Isiah has 1 more 20 & 10 season over Magic that's it an the 89 Lakers were broke down that's all Isiah has over Magic. John Stockton for actually has accomplished more in the NBA in his 30s alone than Isiah Thomas for a career so I mean I think you tend to overrate Isiah Thomas a little too high. 11-15? That can be highly recommended but Jokic is about to be a 3X MVP an likely 2X champion? How can we leave him out the top 15? Moses Kobe Dr J Oscar Robertson Isiah? Big O numbers blow Isiah out the debate, Kobe faced the most difficult Western Conference in NBA History an lead his team to 2 titles Moses greatest offensive rebounder Dr J ABA/NBA resume is top 10 worthy an that leaves Isiah who didn't start winning until Boston got tired after 4 straight Finals an LA slowed down I mean Kareem was 42 years old Brother. We know who Isiah beat but Jokic swept LeBron an eliminated KD an he's literally unguardable so Judah my Brother can we drop Isiah to 17-20 range an place Jokic rightfully top 15? Idk how you have Isiah over West, we can't look at Isiah 2 titles as all the reason why he's top 15 when his numbers doesn't jump out at you anywhere across the board. The man didn't even win both Finals MVP now if this was the case with Kobe an Gasol had won a Finals MVP you would've destroyed Kobe top 10 ranking which I agree with by the way but he's ahead of Isiah Thomas Bro, so is Jokic. Shalom
