Whenever I spray paint something in my workshop, a layer of lacquer settles everywhere, and it smells a long time like a paint shop. So i decide to make a Spray Paint Booth. It is foldable that i can store it away when i don't use it. And it hooks up to my air cleaner. I built in a 4 Stage filter system to extract the overspray and a part of the smell.

You are both an engineer and an artist. Nice work. Great idea for all of us with small shops. I will make one based off your design. What I will change will be to use a metal wire grate for the air intake sides of the filter box (to save manufacture time) and then will use two metal transition tubes to widen the air intake area of the hose connection to the filter box. I’ll use a 4”-5” and then a 5”-6” transition connectors. This will widen the air intake area so that more of the filter is used. I love the foldability of your design; brilliant!

Hallo, klasse Video. LG Noddi

Once again, an absolutely simple design that provides significant improvement to shop air quality and lung health! Not to mention a solution to eliminate that little bit of overspray that somehow migrates to the other end of the shop, ever so gently making its final resting place on that one piece in the shop that least needs it! Thank you for your great project videos. Have you considered making available (for some nominal fee) basic drawings to guide someone to make these wonderful things to fit their own personal needs? Best wishes, Steve; (Woodprobie)

Thank you very much. I really appreciate that. I am about to create plans. Unfortunately it is very time consuming and I find not much time to continue working on the plans. It may take a while.

@@ISIMPLYBUILTIT I truly understand! I experience the same. I have come to appreciate Sketchup (the free version but not the web implementation). I know there are many whom feel there are better programs - it matters not to me as long as a willing individual chooses something, learns it, and then makes a bit of progress each day. I consider my "drawings" my "legacy" to what little skills I have picked up but a lifetime of love and enjoyment for such a peaceful craft! - Woodprobie
