This song STILL holds its own all these years later ! I found out about this great band through a fluke purchase at a yard sale sometimes in the mid-80's, I was attracted to the name Isis and the album cover had great art work on it....discovered the tunes within and had immense listening pleasure, as well as singing along pleasure....Rock on Isis sisterhood :-)

Shout out to whomever put this video together...the recording is from approx 1975; the photos from approx 1978. There was no video of the song at the time the album was recorded...35 YEARS AGO! The song comes from the group's second album ("Ain't No Backin' Up Now) produced by the infamous Alan Toussaint in his New Orleans studio. The photos were taken during a gig we did in Bermuda, approx 1979. Thanks again to whomever put this all together. -Faith Fusillo (1975-1980)

I met Carol at the WCWMF in 1982. I had brought an entire Turkey, it was a vegetarian event. She ate with us every night. Such a gracious woman, and her daughter was adorable.

Hey! I know Susan Ghezzi who was a member of the band. I think she played bass. Last time I saw her she was running a graphic design studio in Hopewell Junction, NY. She's a helluva great fine artist and musician, too. Hope you're well Susie!

Suzie was the guitar player on the first "Isis" album. If you see her, tell her Faith said 'HI!"

After hearing the samples of all three albums (plus a few tracks in their entirety) I had the debut down as a masterpiece. ANBUN is its equal.

It could've been their big break, shame it never happened. The title track is a grower
