Hare Krishna prabhuji, very nicely explained the three reasons that Arjun gives for not fighting i.e compassion, loss of enjoyment and sinful reactions. Also to see things as per God's perspective and to pray to him that we understand his plan and believe that if his plan is not pleasant now to us, but it is benevolent. thank you

Hare Krishna. Arjuna is filled with compassion and his limbs start trembling, hair stand on end, throat dried up, skin burning, Gandiva starts slipping from his hand and he rejects the notion of fighting. He also is thinks that fighting with swajans will not bring any happiness to him. If he wins then he will not be able to enjoy the earthly kingdom by killing Kauravas.

Text 32-35 Arjuna addresses Krishna as Govinda, Madhusudana, Jnardana and explains that when all his dear people are dead, there is no use of kingdom. Because he wanted share his opulence after victory and hence be satisfied. Even if the opponents may desire to kill him, he should not kill them. And so he is not prepared to fight this battle which will lead to only bloodshed. Beyond that if the opponents are to be killed, let Krishna kill them (not knowing they are already killed by Krishna and Arjuna is going to be an instrument only) Govinda means one who gives pleasure to cows and the senses. Arjuna by calling this name tries to indicate Krishna to understand what pleases Arjuna’s senses. But our duty is to please Govinda’s senses and our senses are then automatically fulfilled. But here the Lord wanted the battle to happen because His devotees were put into suffering and Arjuna’s duty was simply to support Lord’s plan.
