We absolutely loved the Private Sailing Trip that we took with Sailing Mare to Isla Mujeres! Check out this review that we did on this trip! We were very surprised how affordable it was too! Originally we were going to book an excursion through the resort which would have been around $100 USD per person, so for just a little bit more we were able to have our own private boat take us instead!! Excellence Playa Mujeres is located about 40-50 minutes North of the Cancun Airport. It is in a very private part of the Cancun area. So if you are looking for a resort that is safe but also has all of the amenities you could want, Excellence Playa Mujeres is a great choice! It is definitely not considered a budget friendly resort but it is well worth the cost of what you pay to stay here!

If u had to do it again, would u choose this tour as a couple or the sunset cruise. The music on the sunset boat and docking in that shallow water during the sunset looked incredible. But the privacy here looks fantastic as well. Also how much was this one?

I definitely would!!! I think it depends when you go and how long. Maybe $400-600 for two people?? We paid about $150 per person but he went on an off time. Not around sunset.

The response is they are just nacho transportation and don’t have any info on the sailing tour. Any recommendations on how to book the tour.

@Dane.Berkshire is it around sunset? He told me it’s almost double for sunset. I’m not sure you will find a private sailing trip for less than $400. Whether it’s 2 or 10 people they still have to take the boat out etc.
