I worked in pubs for ten years and barely heard the kind of thing Farage is talking about. Maybe there are some people in pubs who say that sort of thing, but there’s a lot more who don’t. The diversity of people who drink in UK pubs is genuinely something to be proud of, and Farage has no place trying to pretend he knows how they all think and speak.

So on the one hand he insists that Brexshit was all about reducing red tape and cutting down on the number of civil servants, but on the other hand he (like all Brexiteers) insisted that Brexshit was brilliant because the UK would get to do EVERYTHING on it's own without any help from anyone else. Well that means more work then doesn't it, which is precisely why we now need MORE civil servants FFS! For example, when we were in the EU, imports into the UK were getting checked at various points throughout the EU. We weren't doing all of those checks ourselves. Now, as a result of Brexshit, we have to do all of the checks at our border.....and guess what? We can't manage it, which is why ever since we've left the EU the UK has repeatedly delayed doing those checks, making the UK a smugglers paradise. So no there will be no reduction of civil servants. Instead there will be an increase, because Brexshit = more work, more problems and more costs (aka a pointless and costly waste of time).
