As a Muslim I will be honest while the religion of Islam does not promote racism, there is a lot of racial division in the people that practice the religion. I can see other Muslims of different cultures and they will not even say hello, let alone give Salaams. 2 billion brothers and sisters and we are not a respected entity on the planet and probably will not be until we practice the religion of Islam the way the prophet Muhammad (SAW) said it is to be practiced.

It's ironic that you mentioned the apologetics as I was just having a discussion with a few different brothers surrounding the fact that I was having difficulty just sitting by and listening to them disparage the Prophet (saw), disrespect the Qur'an, prop up weak or misunderstood Hadiths, and just overall "attack" Al Islam and present this argument to an audience that is either majority Christian or Muslims who really don't have a clue when it comes to subjects such as the so called 6 year old Aisha situation or Muslims being allowed to "beat" their wives because the Qur'an says so. Oftentimes the subject matter is a draw for many "I will give 2500 to anyone that can prove to me that Jesus (saw) was a Muslim." But I concluded that clicks and likes is the reason for the titles and the actual content can only appeal to those who love to think negatively of Al Islam and Muhammad the Prophet (saw). We have been blessed tremendously with the social commentary of Imam Mohammed (raa) as well as the encouragement to think independently. Thank you for continuing to educate and bring clarity and logic to these subjects. May Allah reward you.

The 114 surats honestly read reveal one thing: Muhammad according to Allah is synonymous with HaMashiak(Messiah) which the Greeks translated as Christus. Yet in the same Corpus of the 114 Surats Jesus is said to be that Messiah, a Prophet in the likeness of Moses foretold in the Torah. So by deductive logic Jesus is Mohammad. If anyone ever thought about Abu Al-Quasim, the Son Of Amina and Founding Father of the first Arabian nation-kingdom as Messiah(HaMashiak), it would be in a metaphorical sense and not in the literal one. Please stop promoting identity theft !

No racism in islam but many Muslim are racist its true.. Its Their fault .not only black african,, in our asian subcontinent the dark brown people always bullied by so called light brown or fair people,, even all males want to marry a fair, tall girl,,, Its not related to islam, just done by people, its their psychological problem & the bad effect of colonism, people think all white people & things are superior. Racism is extreme in our subcontinent both in Muslim & non muslim..but for this reason we dont blame Allah or islam,,in islam there is no racism but people do.. Fair,brown, black & also tall or short,,slim or fatty.. Poor or rich,, all kinds of racism present. But we dont care,, ultimately this duniya is temporary & this racism is a test for both the racist & bullied people. Allah just create human Being in different shape,size, color & said that all are equal & He create in different types,shape the way He like.

Why did slavery exist in the first place?
@facts.explained.11 ай бұрын
Part 2 2 ● What was the condition of slaves before Islam? ▪︎ Slavery is one of the things that were prevalent before Islam in all civilizations of the earth, so other religions called for slavery and servitude, at a time when Islam was calling for the liberation of slaves and equality between human beings. Islam dried up its sources, called for its abandonment, and made freeing the slaves one of the best deeds that would bring the human closer to Allah almighty, and steps began to forbid it from all sides. 🔸️Allah Said: {Later ˹free them (Captives of war) either as˺ an act of grace or by ransom until the war comes to an end.. (4)} (Muhammad) 3 ● Why had no civilization or religion eliminated slavery before Islam? At the time when the prophet Muhammad ﷺ mission started, the slavery was a very normal and non painful reality, unsurprising, neither was a disgraceful reality, and the slaves masses crowded the Eastern and Western civilizations, no one cared about them and no reformer would think of rescuing them. Throughout the Christian Roman empire, slaves served in silence, and some of them were served food to the beasts on some occasions, and the Jews - according to the teachings of the Torah - organized the ways of slavery. As well the Dalit or as known (untouchables) in the Indian continent were and still are considered impure, and their sanctity is unrecognised, [ i.e. A son of a Brahman class woman fell into a well, and one of the untouchables could have saved him if his mother had given her permission, but the mother preferred that her son dies instead of letting him being touched by one of the untouchables!] The economy of all the civilizations of the world was based on slaves, who did the hard work for the rich and powerful, they somehow formed an integrated fabric, just as the rich need slaves, likewise slaves need rich masters who provide them with work and shelter, or else them and their family will perish. The Greek philosophy and philosophers didn't save the slaves either, it actually recognizes and encourages slavery in its thinking mind! Neither the religious piety that were embraced by the moncks/priests which darkened the earth did not do justice to them, until the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ spoke for the slaves! 4 ● Why does Islam allow Muslims to take captives of war? (They were not slaves) And how did it free them? ▪︎ It was not conceivable that Muslims should not have captives of war, while their muslim women were taken captive and their men and children enslaved. Likewise, it is a means of protection for Muslims and a deterrent to their enemies by not attacking them, so that they do not become captives and their women become maids. ▪︎ Islam gave captives of war rights equal to the free ones, so the prisoner has the right to food, drink, clothing and protection for him and his family, exactly like of the family of the man of the house, right to good treatment, as well as he has the right to complain in court if he suffers from any injustice. These rights are a great mercy for the captives of war, instead of facing a consequence of being thrown in dark prisons, or leaving them unprotected after losing battles, and to avoid their danger to the Muslims in future. The main goal of captives living in Muslim homes is to hear the word of God (The Hoy Qur’an), and often are liberated after they embrace Islam. ◾And Finally, Islam forbade slavery for inability to pay debts, as was customary in pre-Islamic civilizations: The Romans, and before them the Hebrews, sentenced the perpetrators of some crimes to slavery, and one of these crimes among the Romans was being unable to pay the debt. Islam rejected this view decisively, rather the insolvent will get a free help from the Zakat money. (Free state grants) 🔸️Allah said: {If it is difficult for someone to repay a debt, postpone it until a time of ease. And if you waive it as an act of charity, it will be better for you, if only you knew.(280)} (Al-Baqarah)

Part 1 This is how Islam eliminated slavery in the world! And Why did no civilization or religion eliminated slavery before Islam? This article explains these four points in a brief summary: 1. Verses of liberating the slaves in the Qur’an and Al-Hadith. (Nine Proofs) 2. What was the condition of slaves before Islam? 3. Why was no civilization or religion eliminated slavery before Islam? 4. Why does Islam allow Muslims to take Captives of war? (They were not slaves), and how did it free them? 1● The verses liberating slaves in the Qur’an and Hadith: ▪︎ Islam is the first law and religion that legislated the liberation of slaves, and Islam has come with integrated solutions to abolish slavery in the world: 1 • Allah Almighty has made it clear in the Qur’an that all human beings are equal: 🔸️Allah said: {O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may ˹get to˺ know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you. Allah is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware (13)} (Al Hujurat) 2 • And Allah Almighty has made liberating slaves one of the greatest things a person can do to please him (Allah): 🔸️ Allah said: {If only they had attempted the challenging path ˹of goodness instead˺!(11) And what will make you realize what ˹attempting˺ the challenging path is?(12) It is to free a slave,(13) or to give food in times of famine(14)} (Al balad) 3 • And God Almighty has ordained several ways to liberate slaves, and among them are expiations for some sins: 🔸️Allah said: {Allah will not call you to account for your thoughtless oaths, but He will hold you accountable for deliberate oaths. The penalty for a broken oath is to feed ten poor people from what you normally feed your own family, or to clothe them, or to free a bondsperson(Free a slave). But if none of this is affordable, then you must fast three days...(89)} (Al Ma'ida) 4 • Likewise, the obligation of liberation of slaves as penance for a man who commit "Dehar" which is a form of divorce. (Making his wife as forbidden for him as his own mother!): 🔸️Allah said: {Those who divorce their wives in this manner, then ˹wish to˺ retract what they said, must free a slave before they touch each other. This ˹penalty˺ is meant to deter you. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.(3)} (Al Mujadila) 5 • Likewise the liberation of slaves as penance for killing by mistake: 🔸️ God said: {It is not lawful for a believer to kill another except by mistake. And whoever kills a believer unintentionally must free a believing slave and pay blood-money to the victim’s family-unless they waive it charitably. But if the victim is a believer from a hostile people, then a believing slave must be freed. And if the victim is from a people bound with you in a treaty, then blood-money must be paid to the family along with freeing a believing slave. Those who are unable, let them fast two consecutive months-as a means of repentance to Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.(92)} (An-Nisa) 6 • As well as, Allah has decreed for Muslims to free captives of war as an act of grace: 🔸️ Allah said: {..,then bind them firmly. Later ˹free them (Captives of war) either as˺ an act of grace or by ransom until the war comes to an end.. (4)} (Muhammad) 7 • And Allah has made it clear that it is forbidden to enslave free people: ➡️ Allah said in Al-Hadith Al-Qudsi (Holy speech): [There are three who I will be their opponent on the Day of Resurrection:..., and a man who sold a free man and ate his price,...] 8 • The Messenger of Allah Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings be upon him) showed the great reward for those who free the slaves: 🔹️ Abu Hurayrah reported: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: [Whoever is a Muslim man frees a believing slave, Allah will save every part of his body from the hell fire, with every part of the freed slave.] Hadeeth is agreed upon(1433) 9 - The great companion Umar Ibn Al-Khattab said about the prohibition of enslaving people: ▪︎ {When did you enslave people when their mothers gave birth to them free!} 2 ● What was the condition of slaves before Islam?

One of the ingenious ways Islam has addressed slavery is tied to its core dogma in what it is called “Neck Freeing” “عتق رقبه". Islam specifically targeted slavery in a strategic way with the long term end goal in mind. Islamically speaking, no one is infallible or impeccable except the Prophets, we are ALL prone to wrongdoings. For this reason, a major sin’s atonement is expunged by “Freeing Neck” or in other words setting one free. Therefore since “WE” as humans sin, and therefore we must atone to our sins by freeing necks, and then there will come time where there will be no one to free and everyone is free and that is the Islamic end game for abolishing Slavery and how it dealt with societal disease at that time. And in the case, one happened to own slaves at that time, Islam mandated ways in how to treat them with dignity and respect as part of your family until they are freed. Of course, not all would follow them but there are rules for those who transgress too. In regards to colorism in Islam, I would suggest referring to the Final Farewell Sermon of the Prophet PBUH, excerpt: “All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly.“ Finally, Slavery was not tied to a specific color as anyone can be enslaved whether black, white, Arab, non Arab, old, young, man or a woman for many reasons such as wars, raids, capture of a person traveling or far away from his people or tribe, poverty and so many other reasons.

WE ARE STILL SLAVES to our desires, to the lifestyle introduced to us and many more. Remember your body is just a vehicle to your soul and in the day of the judgement black face does not mean your skin color but rather your sins, the more sins you have the darkest your face will be and the more good deeds you have the brightest your face will be. it is said that people will try to get some of that light from that person and ALLAH knows best In Islam, ALLAH wont judge you based on your ethnicity/skin color/language... but you will be judged on your INTENTIONS not your actions. Never knew about racism growing up, and I had friends from all different colors, until I came the first time to Europe where I see people treated differently based on their ethnicity and it was shocking for me. "There is no difference between an Arab and a non-Arab, and there is no difference between a white person and a black person, except on the basis of piety" Hadith. “The most honorable of you with Allāh is that who has piety”. Quran.

Alhamdulillah! Here in America it does have to be said because many non-Muslims discourage our people from learning Islam, based upon the claim that the Deen permits racism.
