I do not know where my mother got this from (like what scriptures or mufti) but i am sure it was these crimes (opps laws) that made her hold such opinions. I was just thinking about this point yesterday. My conclusion is that, well, franky, there is no such thing as "morality" in Islam. Morality is a code of conduct based on values, an innate sense of right and wrong - Islam doesn't have that. Islam has _rules._ Muslims aren't supposed to be moral - they're supposed to be _obedient._ If you choose not to do something because there is a rule that says you will be punished if you do it, that's not being moral. That's being obedient. Breaking a rule because it is unjust, even if it is only unjust in a particular extreme circumstance, is being moral. For example: At a Zoo, there is a rule that says "Do Not Feed The Animals". This exists so that you, as a visitor, don't feed the animals in the exhibits as there is no guarantee that you know what is safe for them to eat, and there are other risks and dangers posed by random people throwing food into the pens. This is following a rule, but the rule is also based on a moral precept - to protect the animals' well-being. But what if, as you're walking through the Zoo, you realize that the animals aren't being properly fed by the keepers? Maybe the Zoo doesn't have enough money, maybe some of the Keepers are incompetent or even corrupt, and so the animals are genuinely suffering because they aren't being fed properly - but the are still people around who operate the Zoo, people who enforce the "Do Not Feed The Animals" rule. Is the moral thing to do really to just walk away and let the animals suffer, because that's what the rules say? Obviously not. The moral precept to protect the animals' well-being is what actually matters, and I don't think so low of most Muslims as to believe that they would actually let innocent animals suffer starvation and sickness just because the rules say they should - even if the rules came with a little caveat on the sign that says "This was ordained by Allah through his messenger Muhammad" they'd find a way to justify to themselves breaking the rules in order to feed the animals. Just make up the right "interpretation" of the rules that you can circumvent their meaning, and do what's actually right. Because morality doesn't come from God, or Muhammad, or the Qur'an - it comes from people.

@@AzamatBagatov413 Morality comes from people, just like love comes from people. Both of them are senses, which means our perception of them can only be subjective. HOWEVER Morality and love are subjective as senses, but not as concepts. For example, even if love is a subjective sense, we know that torturing and killing someone is not "love". It is objectively not love. Which means love as a concept has a certain degree of objectivity. Same with morality. The concept itself is about things that unjustly harm someone. We all have a slightly different sense of it, but harming someone unjustly is something objective. If you punch me in the face with no reason, then you objectively harm me unjustly. So just because morality comes from people that doesn't make the concept itself subjective. Just our perception of it is subjective
@AzamatBagatov4133 жыл бұрын
@@MonstrulSpaghetelorZburatoare you can love someone and kill the person they hate because you love them So it's not necessary that love is something inherently moral or good. Killing and eating a human baby, it's separation of molecules as well Why is human species any more valuable than rat or cow or plants? I watched a video last May of stoning execution done in Iran in 2013, it was two man being stoned, not sure what are their charges, but I remembered the video showing a crowd gathering around them mocking, cursing at the victims, two chest high holed were prepared, the victims are escorted to the hole with their hands tied and head covered with white bag/cloth, and then the hole is covered until chest high. Then the crowd simultaneously started to throw rocks at them, and it was not just throwing casually at them, it was full blown throwing like bullet throwing in Olympic games and also like throwing a baseball- kind of throwing. The victims uncovered their blinds and binds and were desperately covering their head until some of the crowd began to close in kicking, hitting and one of them threw a crushing throw on them with a bigger rock (IIRC a big two handed concrete block) of which one of them was killed instantly with blood gushing from his head, while the other one continued to be pelted a few minutes longer until he succumbed to his wounds. Even after that the crowd still continued to close in , throw, and hit them victim even after the victim expired. That is what I can described from the video I watched in KZbin. Not sure if the video is still there because it was extremely explicit and violent which should already break the TOS of KZbin, and also I cannot 'un-remember' it.
