Not only does the Qur'an have contradictions, it even gives an explanation for its contradictions: abrogation (see Q2:106 & Q16:101). If the Qur'an didn't have contradictions, then it wouldn't make sense that it teaches abrogation. In fact, if the Qur'an didn't have contradictions, then its verses about abrogation would be promoted for no usable reason and thereby become contradictions themselves. The inclusion of abrogration in the Qur'an leads inevitably to the conclusion that the Qur'an has contradictions.

Regarding s 4.82, a very conservative average number of contradictions can be calculated by simplemindedly attributing just ONE contradiction per chapter. That is 114 contradictions. Is this enough to show its author(s) was/were illiterate Bedouin? How bout chapters that have contradictions of known science, ancient history, the Bible, and the teachings of this god itself? With just one of each category in a single chapter, this brings the toll up to 456 contradictions and errors in this najis book. Is that enough to prove it doesn't come from a DIVINE mind? Considering the book is home to far more stupidity than I've calculated, how much is too much? Is there some magic number that will jump-start the brains of this god's slaves? How much is enough to expose this veiled confession of al Nisaa 82?

@@gilbertjones9157 Good point. Here's something you can get people to consider when they read the Bible. Christians say the Lord God is a "triune" God --- 3-in-one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Yet they say this can't be found anywhere in the Bible! (Some nominally Christian cults say the same thing too). When they say that, show them Isaiah 48: 16 where the Lord Himself introduces Himself through his prophet. Imagine the Lord Himself calling you over to speak in your ear, and says: “Come near me and listen to this: “From the first announcement I have not spoken in secret; at the time it happens, I am there.” And now the Sovereign Lord has sent me, endowed with his Spirit." (Isaiah 48: 16, NIV). What? This is God Himself saying God sent Him, empowered by the Spirit of God! This only makes sense when you realize this is the pre-incarnate Jesus speaking! He's saying the Sovereign Lord [the Father] sent me [the Son], endowed with God's Holy spirit!!! In other words, Jesus was with God in the beginning, and Jesus was God -- just like John said (see 1 John 1-4)!!

If you don't argue for perfect preservation, you can claim that the Qur'an as revealed did not contain much contradiction, but people's erratic memories allowed discrepancies to creep in, and you could commence the critical work of trying to purify the Qur'an of errors. But if you argue for perfect preservation you are deep in a hole and digging down furiously.

Rebuttal to Contradiction 1: One verse says heavens and the earth were created in 6 days. The other verse says: Earth in 2 days. Mountain and creatures' sustenance in 4 days. Made them seven heavens in two days ,this was happening simultaneously with the creation of mountain we have no reason to assume that this wasn't simultaneous with the creation of mountain. By naming every day it will be easier to understand. Sunday : creation of Earth.(day 1) Monday : Creation of Earth.(day 2) Tuesday : Mountain and sustenance. (Day 1) Wednesday :Mountain and sustenance.(Day 2) Thursday : Mountain and sustenance(Day 3) along with completing the 7 heavens.(Day 1) Friday : Mountain and sustenance(Day 4) along with completing the 7 heavens.(Day 2) Rebuttal to Contradiction no.2: One verse says: heaven were created before earth. The other says:"It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, and made them seven heavens, " David assumes this means that this verse says earth was created before heavens but that's just stupid since the verse "directed himself to the heaven" showing that it already existed. The verse doesn't say "made the seven heavens" rather it says "made THEM seven heavens" showing that heaven already existed and God just organised them into seven different heavens. Rebuttal to Contradiction no.3: If I with my friends race to school and among my friends I become the first to reach school. Now even though there are other students at school if I out of joy say"I was the first to reach school!" Even though there are other students at school already my statement wouldn't become invalid would it? Similarly when Moses says I was the first of the believers he means ever since God started revelation to a Prophet he was the first Believer. Ever since God started revelations once again Prophet Muhammad since that time is the first of Muslims. Contradiction no 4: God sends messenger to every nation. Abraham and Ishmael were sent to Arabia. Yet Qur'an says Prophet Muhammad was the first messenger to Arabs. Arabs did not exist at the time of Abraham all the Arabs that exist today according to Islam are the Son of Abraham and Ishmael. So from the Progeny of Ishmael came the Arabs and when the Arabs became a proper nation Abraham and Ishmael were long dead, ever since the birth of Arabs no Prophet was sent. Prophet Muhammad was the first and the Last.

I have a hafs quran and a warsh quran both in Arabic and both very different, so which one of the more than 30 different Arabic qurans we can buy? Muslims claim that the Bible has been corrupted. In Surah 3:3 Mohammed tells us that God revealed the Torah and the Gospel, which of course make them the Word of God as that is how God reveals. And in Surah 6:115 Mohammed tells us that none can change the Word of God. Logically according to the quran, the Torah and the Gospel must be the unchanged Word of God. So if the Torah and the Gospel we have today is not the same as the original, then that proves that the quran must be wrong.

There are other logical inconsistencies in the Quran. For example, muslims state that the Quran states that it is the Quran, thus the Quran is mentioned in the Quaran. In order to see the dilemma in this, we need to ask "When was the Quran written - at once or revealed in parts?" if the first mention of the word Quran took place before all the Quran was revealed, then only that portion up to that point is locigally the Quran. If subsequent writings added later were added to the quran, again mentioning the Quran, then it must refer to the time the word Quran is mentioned first and thus to the book as it stood upto the point when the word Quran first appeared within the text. It is like an author writing a book called "War and Peace". Is the book finished at once and then titled or can we keep adding to it for years after it was first published and keep calling the constantly changing book "War and Peace"? That is the logical inconsistency in the Quran using its name in the book itself. The Bible calls God's Word, the Word of God, without referring to a Book called Bible, which makes sense for a constantly evolving body of writing. containing God's Word. There are NO contradictions in the Quran. Period. Just to refute a couple of points in this video- 1) Merely saying 1+1=2 isn't a passage.. if anyone, including David Wood, were to right a passage it can never come close to what God has revealed, which is without any flaw. If David speaks so highly of himself why hasn't he attempted to write a passage yet? 2) Read Quran 41: 9:12 in it's exact wording and you'll see that it matches Quran 7:54.. Both verses conclude that it took God 6 days to create the universe. David and Fadi constantly truncate or use mistranslations of verses which is truly a disgrace 3) Every prophet commanded their people and when it comes to Moses, Muhammad, Abraham declaring their belief in Allah.. they were the FIRST to believe amogst their people. Can you answer me who's the first Christian? If your answer was Jesus... Then you prolly forgot he was amogst the Jews 4) Let's talk about Quran 28:46.. again David is using a mistranslation AND he truncated the verse. If you read the entire verse you can conclude 2 things - the people he preached to had no prophets to them in over 2000 years (last Arabian prophets was Ishmael and Shoaib) AND Muhammad was a warner Iike none before. Since be was the last prophet his preachings still remain in tact to this day as supposed to the lost teachings of prophets before him 5) In Quran 4:153 Allah did pardon some of the Jews for disbeliving and worshipping a calf. However if you read the following verses.. 154 and 155.. you could see that they were made to take a solemn convenant which they broke.. so their hearts were sealed with disbelief (meaning they weren't given a second chance). The other verse you quoted applies to Muhammad's followers, so you see both verses don't contradict each other since one dictates what happened to Moses followers and the other was a decree by Allah to all Muslims. 6) Why do you keep truncating verses? Show the entire verse for everyone to see! In Quran 2:62, if you read the ENTIRE verse, it's mentioned that those who were believing Jews and Christians prior to Muhammad, meaning those who believe in Allah... And did righteousness, will have their reward. Moses and Jesus preached the same message as Muhammad, which is to worship Allah solely. Those are the believing Jews and Christians referred to in this verse.

Thus, 96:1-2, 16:4 and 75:37 will have to be removed from the contradicting verses list. Now, after removing these verses, we are left with the following 'contradictory' statements of the Qur'an: Man was made from water (21: 30, 24: 45, 25: 54) Man was made from dust/soil (3: 59, 30: 20, 35: 11) Man was made from sounding [extremely dry] clay from black stinking mud (15: 26) Man was raised from the earth (11:61) Besides these verses, 37:11 gives an even different picture, as it says that man was created from such soil that sticks to one's hands, or sticky soil. I really do not know what is the contradiction in these verses. Anyone with a literary sense can see that these verses are not contradictory. If someone says: ' I made a cake from flour (soil)', and then says: 'I made a cake from water (water)', and then says: 'I made this cake from a solution of flour and water (mud, sticky soil)', and then says: 'I made this cake from a dried out solution of flour and water (sounding clay from black stinking mud)', and then says: 'I brought the cake out from the oven (raised from the earth)', a person may say that the statements are contradictory. But it is quite obvious that they are not. These statements inform us of not only the major ingredients of cake (man, in this case), but also give us some information regarding the stages from which these ingredients were made to go through for the ultimate production of the cake. From the referred verses of the Qur'an, the result that Mr. Katz drew was that of raising an objection of contradiction and from these same verses I draw the following conclusions: Two major ingredients in man's creation are soil and water; the soil and water took the shape of sticky mud; the sticky mud was left to dry out till it became hard (sounding clay); the total process beginning from the mixing of soil and water till man's birth took place on this planet called earth.

We read that in the year 624 AD Mohammed changed the direction of prayer from Jerusalem to the Kaaba. At that time the Kaaba was a place of pagan idol worship. So Mohammed bowed down in worship to a place of pagan idol worship where some 360 idol gods were being worshipped there at that time. We know from the Bible that our God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac would never have condoned bowing down in worship to a place where pagan idols were being worshipped. So clearly Mohammed’s allah is not the God of Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac. So who is Mohammed’s allah who is happy to be worshipped as “the god” amongst some 360 pagan idol gods?

I have read the hafs quran and some of the hadiths and found the following very disturbing about Mohammed and his allah: - Islam teaches that child marriage is OK which implies child rape (Surah 65:4) which is evil. And Mohammed of course led by example when he raped a 9 year old little girl. - Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil. - Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil. - Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil. - And the witness of a women is worth only half of that of a man. (Surah 2:282). That is an insult to all women. Lets see what Jesus said: - Jesus teaches in John 14:6 English Standard Version » 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. « So who needs Mohammed and his allah? Logically no-one, especially as Mohammed does not explain how anyone gets to heaven following what he recited or how he lived.
