It's Christian theology that's outdated. No problem with Christian ethics though. The idea of God has undergone a long development, from a vengeful, cruel god to the God of loving kindness in later Judaism, a concept further developed in Christianity. In my opinion Jesus was a special person that had a greater understanding of God the father than anyone else of his period. You need to determine for yourself what Jesus is for you. But the important thing is having a relationship with God. I do agree with you that we need to support Christianity, but it needs to undergo a further reform. Best wishes to you.

Whenever India has tried to take control of the situation and fix this particular problem, most of the Western mainstream media (which all happen to be very left leaning socially), academics and those in government, have jumped to slander India and lecture her people on how to be ' better '. The exact tactic of defamation that is used against common Western people (calling them ' far right ', ' racist ', etc.) is used against an entire country.. It sort of creates this image amongst many of my people that even the average Westerner is out there trying to put them down and lecture them, even though, that is far from truth. Regular people of both, the West and India, have a lot more in common than they realise.
