Prof. Nyang is very clear, but it's hard for some to understand, because you can only understand something when you reach at that level. for me, I wish if prof. Nyang would be my instructor in school. If I were able to reach him, I could do anything to be his apostle or servant! so I could learn more.

What I do find interesting is this: If Muslims and Jews were chosing to go to the "New World" after being expelled from Catholic Spain then this boat trip was not some random exploration for trade routes then? It appears now to be an intentional movement to an at least partially known destination. Or is Mr. Nyang here talking more about the later voyages of Columbus?
@Noeman2009
@Noeman2009 6 жыл бұрын
There are some evidences that Columbus was not the first explorer who discovered America. Most Muslims already know this.

Disappointed with Prof Sulayman treatment of the Nation of Islam. How do you go into that much details and basically ignore and disregard the NOI theology. I wonder if we was afraid to defend the sensibilities of his white audience.

I felt the same way. He basically labeled our Foundational black American Muslim leaders as "heretical". He made this lecture primarily a dedication to immigrants. As usual, we never get the credit we deserve for our contributions.
