Mughal rulers destroyed name of Islam in India. It were the saints who presented true msg of Islam just like Shah-e-Hamdan he gave us concept of one true God and didn't killed or forced any one to become Muslim it was people who turned to him by choice not by compulsion. But later most of Mughal rulers destroyed that image of Islam.

All I know about the nine glyphs, is that each has a number of angles, but we have to write the number in their original square shape to count the angles each number has, not round shape like we write them today. I cannot do it on this YT text box. But here is the idea: 1 - one angle 2 - two angles like Z 3 - three angles _(two > one above the other)_ 4 - four angles like + , _(The modern written form shows 5, when typed shows 6 angles)_ 5 - five angles 6 - six angles 7 - seven angles 8 - eight angles (two squares one above the other) 9 - nine angles 0 - no angle

Most Muslims in Central Asia adopted Islam through Sufi Shaykhs, later the Mongols also. e.g. Amir Temur followed the Naqshabandi tariqat. Infact every Empire including Chagatai, Golden Orde, Ottomans, Mughals etc You can check this.

Kadal karai mosque was the first mosque to be built by the Arab traders and missionaries (mostly sahabas), who landed in Kayalpatnam in Hijiri 12 A.H (633 A.D) - during the lifetime of Hazarat Abu Bakar Siddeeq (Rali). According to Professor Dr. Kabeer of Calicut University, a mosque was built in Kayalpatnam during the reign of the second Caliph the great ruler of the Arabs and the aliens, Ameerul Momeneen Hazarat Seyedna Umar Farooq (Rali.) (13 A.H - 23 A.H).

islam was alredy there from the time of prophet in south india kerala a ruler known as cheraman perumal traveled to medina to meat the prophet and he converted along with his sisters son and on the way back he died and his group returned to medina and later next year prophet himself sent some of his sahabas that include malik bin deenar (ra) to the land of cheraman perumal and they landed and the kings death was informed and the current king offered them shelter and a place to build mosque which is trhe oldest mosque in india cheraman masjid

Also there is huge misconception that Islam came 1400 back...No it was there since​ the beginning of time. Whenever people turned away from one true God, God chose amoung the people a mesengar who would carry his msg. But most of people didn't accepted. Giving an example of Moses when he returned from Mount was surprised to see people worshipping a calf and was anguished on his brother Aaron for not taking care of the beliefs of people. Moses had shown all the maricles of God to them but still they turned him down. It shows humans have tendency to make their own God's leaving the one who created them from nothing and gives death and will raise them again.
