When Shiekh Hamza spoke about the 100 parts of Allah's mercy, 40:10, he didn't mention the fact that people who shouldn't take this as an excuse to be fooled, and then do what they like or postpone and procrastinate repentance. Am i wrong?

But in the hadith itself, the prophet said that, without adding such warning. Which indicates that it is not necessary. The warnings are all over the Quran and Hadiths, so whoever wants to be fooled, will be fooled.

Xenja N from what I understand just because there is a drought or abundance in rain doesn’t necessitate God’s displeasure with or blessings towards a people. It isn’t a black or white type of thing. It may be a sign that if there is a drought that God may be displeased but it’s not a definite.

Well, I liken it to be like coaching. Sometimes 2 players in a team may actually have to go through more drills than others. Everyone else on the team may feel sorry for them, since it may seem that the coach dislikes them, but really, he doesn't. One of them comes late to practices, puts the team down by his laziness, doesn't seem to be serious at all so the only thing to wake him up is to give him harder drills, make him stay late for practices, make him run extra laps until he slaps out of it and wakes up. For the other one, the coach sees so much potential in him, that he wants to push him for greatness and become the next Michael Jordan therefore he also receives more drills, e.t.c. With catastrophes, it's the same. For one person, it's the only thing to wake him up. For the other one, it's an honor.
