When the Prophet (S) spoke about Rome (Room), he meant the Byzantine empire with capital in Constantinople, and not the capital of Italy. In his time, the Arabs called Byzantines of Constantinople as Romans (Surah ar-Room). Hamza Yusuf is apparently wrong in his interpretation of the hadith about Rome.

Only Allah Knows who is best in taqwa and knowledge. He says he is Muslim and I accept that. I listen to non Muslim scholars too. Both can make mistakes. I trust Allah to Make me comprehend what is correct and remove what is wrong. InshaAllah. Prefer not to judge others eeman or focus on sects or differences but to be mindful of my own self and my path. The fact is, he spent a considerable amount of time and effort in colating and conveying his research to others. I am grateful to him for that and did learn a lot Alhamdulillah. Allah can use anyone to benefit Islam and Muslims. His 104 odd videos gave very useful knowledge. No one can be absolutely correct about every single fact but it's a good historical chronological base (without insulting or undermining his work). May Allah reward him for it and Keep him on the right path or Guide him in his deen if wrong. (Dua goes for all). Ameen

The second coming of the Great Prophet Jesus WAS mentioned in the Holy Quran. that is when God said after mentioning the dialogue of Prophet Jesus with his apostles or his people..."and verily he is (means Jesus) a knowledge of the Hour" which means he is one of the signs of the Hour...and i see something deeper in this which is that the the second coming of Jesus is the Hour itself, or at least another way of interpreting the word Hour ...or we can take it like this "The Hour of the overcoming of truth against false...the winning of righteousness over the evil. .....does anyone oppose my view ????

You should rather ask what is the Islamic view on ahmaddiyat. My views are not important if they are not backed by Islamic laws or principles.
