Auf Schiffen sind es immer Kabinen und keine Zimmer... ;-) aber ansonsten nettes Video von meinem Lieblingsschiff. Es kann auf der ganzen Strecke schweren Seegang geben und hängt definitiv nicht von den einzelnen Teilstücken ab - ich habe die Überfahrt schon sieben mal gemacht... ;-)

Great, thanks, this is the best comprehensive video that I have seen. Could understand in english using subtitles and auto translation. Useful tips, particularly concerning the eating options. Shame the wifi is so slow. Was planning to buy wifi access for the entire voyage, which I understand is about €30. Booked a single cabin with window, not sure if I should have upgraded, a view blocked by a lifeboat would not be great. Going in September, maybe more onboard options. Do you know if there are any possibilities to buy a last minute cabin upgrade onboard?

In the summer months, the ferry is usually fully booked, especially the cabins in the higher categories. You can check online whether a better cabin is available for your travel period and then ask by email whether you can upgrade. It will probably be very difficult on site. If you have booked a cabin alone, i.e. for just one person, then you will only get a cabin with two beds and these all have no obstructed view.
