i lived in PH and TH. she is a gem. no doubt. not only the (english) part the mannerisms, sayings and fun. i would "tie" her down (of sorts) and lock down in hua hin or chang mai and "never" look back.

I been in Koh Samet and i spent there 4 nights for Valentines day to Sai Kaew beach. I loved had dinner on the beach with white sand eveything so romantic. Very nice island. The hotel i booked is Lima Duva Resort not really cheap, but very nice room and i been really satisfied.

First trip to Koh Samet in 1985. Beach bungalow was only 40 baht a night. Enjoy.

Great ! Nice to see you both enjoying life in Thailand. I may have told you before, but my wife and I spent a couple of weeks on Koh Samet in the mid eighties. Back then there was no running water.All the water had to be brought over in jerry cans. There was one restaurant and a few bamboo huts for 50 baht per night...No roads or any kind of town.No jetty. You were brought over on speed boats and had to wade ashore !

I remember! I was there in 1982. There was nothing but nature and some huts. I loved it but it would be too hard to see what its like now...I wont be back...
