Most of them used the buttoned strap so if you use a nornal strap, its more secure.

I cannot stop smiling and laughing at the excitement in your voice, like kids on Christmas morning, love watching you and Nikki. Have to say the best part was watching how scared you were walking the ledge and there is Nikki who has to walk the same ledge while filming with no shake,Nikki you are amazing videographer. You have convinced me to never buy a Apple watch, who cares if they are waterproof, they dont stay on your wrist.

Hello Bondi. Sorry to be the bearer of bad new but just so you know. If you find an electronic in water never immediately try to turn it on because it will short out. Instead make sure its has at least 2 days to dry maybe get some silica packs or something. That will increase your chances very high of the electronics working. I did this method twice and it worked both times.

The Apple Watch has find friends on it but it may not be activated and if it’s nor cellular you would need to connect to Wi-Fi also it maybe passcode enabled best bet is to take them to apple and they will trace them

I think you ought to take your magnet with you, and a good light. That way, you can try to find some of those heavy items that got pulled off when you were fishing from the cliff edge. G'day Leigh, my old stomping grounds, Angourie. How many times have I jumped off that cliff and the one around the corner, only twice, that one is scary. The quarry was used to mine out the local rock for the Clarence River breakwall. On both sides of the river there are signs of such quarries and some remanents of tram rails and wheels from the trucks that carried the rocks to each breakwall. Dont dive down there as there is a lot of steel structures and cables from the old days, if you do stick to the wall and ledges close in. Be safe and well done on the finds.

Also Leigh, go over to the other side and chuck the magnet in there also, that is also a favourite jumping off spot even though it is just a metre or so from the water. Also the other pool around the corner is also popular for the bigger folks. I should of tee'd up a hunt mate, there is so many places to hunt around Yamba

The second SD card pins will be heavily corroded. Scrape them till they are shiny with something sharp and try in the reader again.

Great scores at the quarry. The apple watch that you found that still had life in it must have been dropped in there pretty recently as they only last approximatly a week after higher functions are disabled and they only tell the time when the button is pressed. If any of them have red crowns they are cellular models and it should be relatively easy to find the owner on all of them by browsing the contacts app once you charge them up unless they are protected by a pin code.

You really need an inflatable boat so you can magnet fish from it. That way don’t have to worry about the magnet hitting the rock ledge and knocking stuff off the magnet. Can also use it when diving as home base on the water.
