Woohoo! After the hints and teasers from your Granville Island vidclip comments, the much anticipated "VI Tikitour" is 'in the can' and 'on the screen' :-D :-D . I'm surprised at how BIG VI is! By my rough-as-guts guestimate from my world atlas, it must be some 450km from Vic to Port Hardy, and it's roughly 100km at its widest? Which would make it as big as (maybe bigger) than the entire Netherlands? @ 01:03 Looks like VI meets my "Biker's Golden Rule of Ride Route Planning" too. "The squigglier and the thinner the (road) line on the touring map is, the Bigger the BGF (Biker's Grin Factor) in its riding thereof". So Port Alberini to Tofino and Vic to Port Renfrew look to be Biker's Blast roads :-D. Do we get the joy of a 'virtual ride' of these roads with you in this series to confirm my conjectures ? Or can any VI resident bikers (Chris?) share what they know of these roads? Regardless Megan, thank you again so much for the hours and labours of love you put in to creating such wonderful moto-travelogging content for us fellow bikers and outdoors enthusiasts from around the world to vicariously partake of your patch of paradise.

I took a ferry once from Victoria to Vancouver. It was such a cold day that even Canadians were staying inside, haha. I was the only one out on deck having the time of my life looking at one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Enjoy that amazing trip Megan!

Well done Megan! Another beautifully shot video, great drone footage! The scenery makes me want to ride to Canada again. I rode up to Canada from Texas in the late 90's, being long haired Harley rider crossing the border was a challenge, was delayed for hours while they searched my bike and belongings. I move away from Vancouver Island many years ago. Got into Adventure riding a few years back. Bought a 2017 BMW R1200 GSA. Turns out i am moving back to the Comox Valley in a few years to retire. Bought a nice 6.5 acre property. Cant wait. I am so looking forward to doing exactly what you have done on the island. Brings back memories. Already planning...lol

I was there 25 yrs ago. I visited some friends in Seattle and we took a day to go for a hike there where there were some hot springs . Saw some whales on the way over while on the ferry. Very beautiful area . Would like to revisit and explore the island more . Thanks for another wonderful video Megan 🙏👌😊☮️

WOW ! Spectacular. If I ever get done touring the US, Canada is next on my list. Megan ... I am so envious of you. You live your life, the way I want to live mine. I am working towards that wonderful freedom to be out on the road for weeks at a time. Your videos are inspiring & I always remind myself, “I can go there too ! I just gotta throw a leg over the trusty ol Versys & go” it’s always packed & ready. Now we are headed into winter, bike is put away & it’s time for winter camping, ice fishing, snowshoeing & XC skiing. I will circle Lake Superior in the spring.
