Roll the ear plugs like a end of a cigarette ( ahemm) then with the opposite side hand reach over your head and grab the top of your ear and pull up while you are putting the plug in. It helps straighten your ear canal and you can get them in deeper where they will stay. You can roll them super small so you shouldn't have a issue with that.

Hi Kelly, you can go to any ear institute and ask them to mould a earpiece according to your eardrum. I had the same problem and now i am satisfied. I am from south africa. Love you and gabe. Keep up the good work

Cool video! Back in 1993 we used a cast net for shad to catch some bass. Caught a huge shellcracker. Realizing they were bedding we went to the bait store and got some worms then caught 80 or so!!! This video reminded me of that trip.

Gobbie, When that plastic lid cracks, and it will, have the Kellster make a wooden replacement the same size. Then cut a small swim noodle and tie wrap it around the neck of the basket 🧺! Works great.

Kelly, foam earplugs are only good as long as there is some waxiness to them. The waxiness is what allows you to roll them tight and keeps them tight for about 10 seconds while you insert them into your ears. The comment about reaching over your head and pulling the top/back of your ear to open the ear canal is spot on - after you roll the earplugs that stay rolled. you all keep up the good work and be safe with your hearing; you can't get it back.

Hey Kelly I have the same problem with those ear plugs. Try squeezing the air plug to compress it and then pull slightly down on the bottom of your ear lobe with one hand while inserting the plug with the other.

I was born in the '60s and they had them when I was a kid. Funniest thing I ever saw was a basket full of fish being devoured by a snake that had crawled in to eat our fish. My girlfriend's dad hated snakes, went ape screamin' crazy, pulled a huge brick off a nearby wall and pounded that snake(and all the fish) in the head! He wasn't finished! Round2-Then he went and got a round point shovel and proceeded to chop that snake into so many pieces, screaming and cussing the whole time. He destroyed the basket, fish, snake and the shovel. Luckily we went to the nearest marina and he bought another one, cussing about how much they marked up their prices. I made a wooden lid for one for a friend.

Kelly, don't spit on them... The secret to foam ear plugs is to roll them to a skinny stick looking thing and then stick them in your ears while they are long and skinny like a match stick and then they expand to the inside of your ear... They do not hit the sides of your ear canal going in if you roll them back and forth long enough..Keep at it till you get the Ah Ha moment.

Roll the plugs between your fingers and make them small, grag the top of your ear and pull back (gently) your ear will open a little bit allowing you to put the plug in. Try pulling your ear back and feel with you finger while doing it and you'll feel it enlarge and understand what I'm telling you. 👍 Hello from Australia, luv your channel

Re: foam earplugs, what you do is, you twist the end to reduce the size, then insert. They then expand to fill the earhole.

Yep get them earplugs warm..twist them back and forth to make them skinnier...but not too skinny...then quickly pull up on the top of your ear while putting it in before it expands too much.. and be careful not to go in too far it will hurt..i know i have to use them at my work..hope this helps!

Proper way to put ear plugs in. Take the ear plug in your left hand roll it between your fingers to make it small. Take your right hand over your head to your left ear pull your ear back towards the back of your head take the ear plug put it in your left ear and let your right hand go. The ear plug will swell up and should fit better. Hope this helps

Kelly, yall should get a 2 way radio system similar to an aircraft with headsets so you can talk to each other while under way. They make them for offroad racing as well. Hope that helps
