'Stupidest men in the world more like it....Bike racers only racing their bikes at best 8/10ths around this deathtrap of a track, how it can be regarded as "purest motorcycle racing" beggars belief....It is called the Tourist Trophy for a Reason...they are only Touring around on those race bikes! My wife and I traveled from Australia to attend the 2018 TT. What an experience the bikes, access to the teams, pits could ask for more. All the locals and fans just there to enjoy the event want to go back again for the 2 weeks instead of 4 days. Let's hope we can all travel again.

Looks like we'll have to wait till 2022 now because of the 'rona. Surely it will go ahead then. Been going on and off since 1973, absolute privelege to see the riders so close up. What you dont experience on the internet is the air pressure change as they pass by punching a hole through the air and the slipstream wake behind that rips everthing up, the smell of burning petrol, the vibrations in your stomach. As a child i remember the Ulster GP and NW200 the sheer power and noise of the bikes as we sat on the ditch close enough to touch them as they passed by and your hair and clothes buffeting with the slipstream. God knows what its like to be sitting on it.
