Good to hear of your thoughts on covid and sorry to hear of the downs you have gone through , I agree 110% with your view on masks, lockdowns etc. To let you know the Island has always had the speed limmits in and about towns etc, 20mph in home zones and school crossings (during the school run) and the 30/40/50 are Island wide. The national speed limmit signs allow you to go at any speed but those areas are few where you can actually do this, the mountain is one but I would hesitate on all other places, country lane for the most part. Anyhow, glad you enjoy the place and do come over for future racing. Regards Mark.

Ah that's interesting.. I was told no speed limits anywhere 🤷‍♂️.. we had a great time, I'd maybe come again without the racing, there was so much I wanted to see the bikes almost got in the way. Lovely friendly people everywhere. Thanks for your comment 👍

I’ve never been to the IoM before and it really surprised me how long a lap is. Also your Aprilia sounds pretty damn good. I know what you mean about ‘bringing up the drawbridge’ if you’re feeling mentally fatigued. It’s a weird reaction though as people also lift my spirits. Great to have you back Kaiser 😎🎉🏍. Vero 🤷🏼

Great that my favourite KZbinr is back! I don’t know when it closed but in the 1990’s there was a Pub/Restaurant called The Groudle at the stop of the same name on the Electric Tram which would have been very convenient for you. I recall it being packed out at TT events but places can’t operate on only a few good weeks business every year.

Thank you Stewy. yeah I did see a place just up the road and thought it must of been a pub at some point.. Groudle Hotel I later found out it was called at the end of its life, that would of been perfect. Like you say, hard to survive in that industry these days if you haven't got business all year round. So I got into the first few minutes, had a whiskey in hand and was loving seeing you back and that scenery as well. Bloody GoPro audio faffery, I know it all too well! I have to commend you on opening up fella, it's a hard thing to do but I always believe it's the right thing to do. I knew from our brief conversations that things were hard. Thanks Brett, haha the faffery is real. Finally found a mic though, Boya BY-M100 with a dead cat. Quite large to have in your helmet but best quality I've had so far... mate nothing beats the views you have and the solitude.. jeez, I crave that solitude. That lookout you was at was incredible.

@@KaiserWheelHelm I'll have a look at that mic, the amount of crap that needs to be sorted out for audio is just ridiculous!! I have to admit, we've got some stunning locations that are so remote and they're not far from home. I feel very spoilt indeed but now the challenge is to find somewhere that trump's that last lookout!
