The stuttering, stammering delivery is absolute genius! And I love how sometimes you slowly fade certain parts. And package all of that comedic punch with a sort of naivete and curiosity of a foreigner in a foreign country. Ismo you are truly brilliant lad! Keep up the good work! Hope you pop by Canada soon!
@deepapatricia3 жыл бұрын
Even I noticed this...a very casual delivery in an uncertain way really over the top.
@voidstarq2 жыл бұрын
That's the self-deprecating Finnish sense of humor for you. He uses the stuttering, and his accent and just-slightly-"off" grammar, to emphasize his position as a foreigner observing American culture from the outside, and his sense of bemusement at what he's seeing. And then lampshades it by using the word so naturally a couple times ("I didn't know shit." ... "I had to study that shit.") An American comedian could try doing a bit on the same observations, and if they're good enough, maybe they could make it work, but it would never be anywhere near as funny. Maybe I'm biased (being half Finnish), but I don't know if it could work quite so well for someone from any other country either. (Possibly India? I don't know.)
