Another good presentation from Jackie. “It’s a no brainer” captures this and many other requirements. I always say there’s nothing in the ISO standards that a well run organisation wouldn’t want to do but the standards provide a set of requirements that provide a framework for a well organised management system. Don’t do this stuff just to comply with the standards or keep your auditor happy. Do it because it will help your organisation to run better.

Well said Ben. Thanks for your contribution. I always say that most businesses already have this 'stuff' in place and it just needs a small tweak or formalising. It's not scary at all!

is it mandatory to have a documented information for clause 4.2?
@auditortrainingonline Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. Clause 4.2 in ISO 9001 does not state that documented information is to be maintained or retained. I know - it's very disappointing from an auditors perspective :) In saying this don't forget that clause 7.5.1 states that the organization shall include documented information determined by the organization as being necessary for the effectiveness of the quality management system. So, if you determine that it would be beneficial to retain documented information for clause 4.2 outputs then by all means do so. It is managing risk. All of my audit clients retain evidence of who their interested parties are and what their needs and expectations are. I hope that answers your question. Regards, Jackie
