Problem with that is that Paradox doesn't really support the save converters and fans need to update them every patch of the two games between them. I guess he could play older versions of each game to make it work.

All countries in America are a few hundred years old at best, and most haven't exactly participated much in the great events of the world since then. There's really not much reason to know about Mexico other than, hey they were kinda big at some point, they lost shit to the US, had a civil war at some point, and lots of other civil unrest. Also got into some shit with France. Make drugs and tortillas, are catholic, speak Spanish but have a lot of indigenous ancestry as well. Like honestly what more is there to know for a foreigner.
