Fun fact: the raid on Trostky is also a historical option, before the icepick, the armed wing of the Mexican Communist Party, headed by the famous painter and Spanish Civil War veteran: David Alfaro Siqueiros, shooted with machine guns Trotsky's house, obviously failing. i think the Great Patriotic War bit might be referring to the original Russo-Japanese war Czar Nicholas II, everyone's favorite extremely competent leader, figured that he'd have a nice brisk curb-stomp of the japanese and it would shore up his flagging approval. Then the Japanese curb-stomped him, and Russia had a collective freakout that lead to the Russian Revolution of 1905, where Nicky pioneered the amazing technique of "tell the revolutionaries you'll listen to their demands, then tell them lol psyche you get nothing and throw them all in jail" this worked pretty well for exactly twelve years, at the conclusion of which Nicky was involved in ANOTHER goddamned war he'd told the people would be a quick easy curb-stomp, was losing it very badly, and when he said "hey guys I'll listen to your demands" even the moderate Russians agreed his choice was to either walk away from the throne or be shot off it. and then later on the bolsheviks shot him anyway, essentially on the grounds of "man, fuck that guy." there is plenty of room to argue the rest of his family should have been spared, but even if you were the kind of conservative who thought the Czar was God's appointed messenger to rule over all Russians and laying a hand on him was blasphemy against the natural order, you could agree Nicky had it coming.

truely OP..i turned my post civil war russia into a tsarist superpower which took out italy, turkey, finland-estonia, AND manchuria along with others..i had some help..but most of the work was done bye me..but in manchuria i had no divisons stationed so the counterattack was hard as supply sucked without the ports..resulting in my needing allies...but i absolutely crushed turkey and estonia-finland along with helping destroy italy

I’m usually glad you’re not poltical ISP, but I am glad you said something about Germany. I’m a German National who immigrated to the US when I was 12 (21 now) and I’m absolutely livid and disgusted with what my homeland is doing. Their lack of action, care or even human empathy is a testament to the state of affairs in the world today and I’m grateful a well-known, popular individual such as yourself, who has a platform, has said something to your viewers, the majority of which are young adults as myself. Please all, pray for the people of Ukraine. And I’d say god have mercy on Putin, but. Let’s face it; the bastard does not deserve it.

Note: No Russian ships were harmed in the making of this film. To the disappointment of literally everyone....

before I continue watching (currently @ 1:42, but not that it matters) before donating anywhere, follow the money and find out where it ends up. I'm just saying to use discretion because "you can never let a good crisis go to waste". blessings to you all. 💛

I feel like even Russians don't want the war, unfortunately only 1 person can stop whats happening. I hope everyone affected by this conflict can one day get back home in a time of peace

There is wide support for it in Russia, even Johnson said today that support for the invasion in Russia was so high that they could pull out and say they were successful.

@@RabbiHerschel Or Putin can acknowledge any time that this war is completely pointless and mass deporting/killing Ukrainians in those areas to gain a Russian majority is unethical, and return the occupied areas for peace himself.

Some Russians don’t want the war while others (more then half) watch and follow Russian TV news and sadly support current events in Ukraine

@@thecalmclone2813 The Putin regime has been controlling the media for years trying to psychologically prepare his followers to support an insane. Most young Russians, who are able to get around the propaganda through VPNs and the like, oppose the war. As stories of Russian defeats and the huge number of dead soldiers become harder and harder for the government to cover up, while the effects of sanctions become more and more severe, support will collapse. It's scary what dictators can do to convince regular people to support conquest and genocide.
