And also ....... technically causing a disaster on the western front when the French high command ordered the Dutch army to retreat to the defensive line or else they'd be wiped out by the Germans without accomplishing anything, they tried to hold the line (it went as well as you'd expect) and the Allies had to quickly rearrange their frontline to attempt a rescue of the Dutch army before they could get encircled and overrun, leading to a weakening of the previously mentioned defensive line and well ....... I think you know the rest (it's a very brief explanation of what happened but wow, noth the Dutch and the Belgians seemingly did their best to make all of the terrible decisions during this time period holy shit)

Everytime I try a small nation and go defensive with forts. The enemy plane power is overwhelming and bomb my forts. Obviously joining the allies makes it easier but otherwise I find it tough

@@MC-CFC The Allies weren't putting their planes in my bases for no reason; and any territory I liberated in Europe went to me immediately (so that meant more factories). Also overall it's as if the Axis AI wasn't sure what to do with me anymore. Hilarious that, while in the Allies, I did the focus which gave me Belgium and Luxembourg for free (with cores) and then when I did Wilhelmism, every democracy hated me and I was out of the faction. Basically scammed Churchill lol

I know that this has basically nothing to do with hoi4 A-Z, but I tried out the map randomization mod today, and the default focus tree (or just the Egypt focus tree) is broken in that. I have enough supplies to train literal hundreds of 40-width infantry divisions. I hope that you continue to enjoy this series and I really enjoyed watching the Mega Campaign.

What I did was go for monarchy and play try to survive the German onslaught to revive the buffer proposal. As I never lost my country, I didn't have to worry about a D Day because they could safely enter the mainland through my ports. Once the great push began, I was able to take the territory and from the new country.
