Even with it on after you stop riffing there is like this echo that rings or something. I had the same issue with the regular decimator. My MXR smart gate does not do that and no tone suck.
@louistorres4 жыл бұрын
I'll try it in the loop too but yeah, you can hear that little ring before it gates. I'll check the Smart Gate next since lots of guys like that one! Thanks brother!! :)
@matttaylor14494 жыл бұрын
The ringing is there even when the gate is off. It's something else in the room vibrating. Too loud.
@louistorres4 жыл бұрын
@@matttaylor1449 it's the gate bc when I just connected my Fortin Zuul, nothing. It's weird how the gate closes but I'll do another video comparing the Decimator X, Decimator II and Decimator G String tomorrow. :) I hear it too, almost like a rattling glass. No glass in the room though but I know what you're hearing.

@@louistorres Oh yeah !! Now I'm starting a countdown and looking forward to hearing from you ! I have the possibility to buy either an ISP decimator pedal, or a Rocktron Hush super C rack. My rig consists of Rocktron Piranha preamp, Rocktron Intellifex Blackface, and Mesaboogie Fifty Fifty
@louistorres4 жыл бұрын
Bro, you're into racks! Get the Hush and keep it all within the same enclosure! From my understanding, and I like my Hush IIC, is that the Hush Super C is much better. That being said, if you don't have the space, then get the ISP bc I have one too and it's a great noise gate.
@anahowana4 жыл бұрын
@@louistorres I surely love me some racks, and I like them big haha )) Yeah bro, both Hush super C and ISP get positve reviews, yet some say ISP is a tad better in keeping the core signal intact, and others say that once you hit Rocktron's Super C sweet spot it's set and forget, dunno, I will maybe take Hush super C between the preamp and poweramp, then later add ISP in front of the preamp. But I will be surely looking forward to hearing from you whenever you manage to use the Hush super c!
