When have kids throwing rocks and stones been called terrorists? Not sure if I have misunderstood the statement (if so, please forgive my ignorance). Hamas are labelled as terrorists and if you look up the definition, that is what they are. This doesn't mean their cause, i.e. what they are fighting for isn't valid, but they are in fact terrorists by definition regardless. They openly and in many video's I have seen, joyfully 'attacked civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.' You could argue that is what Israel is doing (or wanted to do), but Israel would not have been allowed to do what they are doing now if Hamas hadnt of done what it did on October 7th, simple as that. Hamas gave Israel a legitimate reason to target them and Israel argue that is what they are doing. Hamas have hid behind the civilians of Gaza and knew what they were doing when they built bunkers/tunnels under civilian areas, anyone who claims otherwise is a liar. On October 7th, did Israeli military targets hide behind the civilians slaughtered, no they did not. Had Hamas not targeted innocent civilians, I think less people would have been able to justify supporting Israel in their actions since.
