if fighters are 'hurt'' because of a little pain, MMA would not be able to exist as a sport. 'Hurt' for a fighter means something different. For weaklings, hurt is when you get a paper cut, for a fighter, hurt is when you are compromised and the other guy might sleep you. A massive calf kick that is painful but doesn't set you back much is not hurt, a punch to the temple that causes you to wince a little but doesn't deter you is not hurt. They are hurt when they start wobbling and spazzing out. Comprende?
