IMPORTANT: For those of you who have already seen the original, this version of the video is much much better. After receiving a copyright claim by the UFC, I went back and recorded an entire breakdown of Israel vs Alex, along with cleaning up the audio, music, and overall editing. In truth, it was a blessing in disguise, because I wasn’t happy with the original, and how off-topic it went. This is *in my humble opinion* my best MMA video thus far, and if you want to support this video; a simple like is all I ask, and please watch the entire video, that helps a lot, too! Thank you all for your continued support of my content. I actually paid for the intro song, as I wanted to make you all something super hype to watch for the new version. I honestly just love how Adesanya fights. How competent he is of controlling a fight on the ground, holding the dominant position, is really insane. He's methodical with his strikes and he knows when and where to strike, he sets up his striking really well with his distance management as well. Like his jab utilization is insane.

You can never satisfy people. If you risk everything and put on a show; you get knocked out, same people will say he got too cocky. Risk less , get the W , by fighting smart, same people will say he is boring. I guess what we all should emphasize more is the reason Alex was pushed up so fast so as to get a fight with Adesanya. If he is that gud, he should be able to walk up the ranks. I think it is more criminal to push up Alex, the way they did than Izzy,s not delivering as promised to put on a show. Life lesson: People see you are great, they just want to bring you down. Please if you aint buying Izzy/s PPVs anymore, please who really cares?......A chunk of the monies goes to the organisation as against the fighters on the card. The guy already has a gud guaranteed salary, and does not have the sole responsibility to sell fights...........This same guy has brought in more popularity to the UFC, especially in Africa and NZ, when he really didn,t have to. I would say it’s because he hypes up the fights but keeps winning via points. I personally dislike his style but he is doing what he needs to do to win and defend his belt. UFC 276 for example, he walked to Undertaker’s theme song while carrying a urn that said Jared on it. You see something like that and you expect Izzy to take Jared’s soul. Instead, he just jabs and kicks from range while continuously on the backpedal and wins via points. That’s why I think people have turned on him. If he simply said every fight that I’m doing what I need to do to defend my belt, I think the hate for him would diminish greatly.

He's incredible. I've seen bars full of people screaming just because someone says his name. He's literally the man every aspiring fighter wants to be. But because we know he's capable of perfection, anything less than that is disappointing. Though to speak on Floyd, He's always come off as a Walmart Mike Tyson. No matter how well he fights. He will only ever be maybe the 10th best in history if he's lucky. Fighting has become a story, Floyd's story has already been told. He's no longer an intriguing character. I don't need a new Mike Tyson. I still have Mike running around. Financially he's made a great move, and that's great. Legacy wise? He should have been a new Mohammed Ali. He should tell a better story. But he's not a storyteller, he's a fighter. And that's okay.
@ClydeYouTuber2 жыл бұрын
Floyd and Mike are nothing alike in career, personality or fighting style. I actually stopped reading at that part, don’t spew that nonsense in the comments. It looks really bad man. People will call you a casual.

Volk is a dominant fighter. Izzy is a fighter who does just enough to win and stay out of trouble, that's not dominant.

So much this. Volk went up against the most dominant FW and successor to Aldo in Max Holloway and beat him 3 times, the last the most convincing of all, and more or less cleaned out the division in between doing so.

Dude, you can’t say his fights are boring because he’s just that dominant. He’s literally getting in close decisions and leg tapping at range and running around the octagon. Robert Whittaker should have won the second fight. And before Israel fights he always says he’s gonna knock them out and impress everyone.

I'm not super onto professional fighting nut I find Adesanya really cool and entertaining even if he does say cringe things sometimes like you said. Not to mention the fact that his skill is beyond question whether you like him or not. Also after taking a quick look through the comments I have massive respect for you for interacting with your viewers so much. A lot of content creators don't.
@whodatboi25672 жыл бұрын
While undefeated at Middleweight, Adesanya's reign would not accurately described as dominant. He has adopted a risk-averse which is different from neutralising your opponent. You mentioned Floyd Mayweather but even he was willing to put himself in the fire and employ all-time-great defense in order to land counters. Adesanya, on the other hand, takes advantage of his Light Heavyweight proportions to point strike his opponents. It's not enough for him to complain about opponents not coming towards him as fighters such as Conor McGregor and Alexander Volkanovski have shown that high-level counterstrikers are able to employ tactics that force their opponents to strike with them; a skill that the supposed "best striker in UFC" should possess.
@josebaldon25372 жыл бұрын
Their styles aren't the same tho, Floyd had a great guard because he had the advantage of his shoulder, Adesanya has a long reach with great evasiveness, it's hard to get in his range to beat him, that's still neutralizes them, they don't get an opportunity to go in, Adesanya has always been an amazing counter puncher which is why their is no action no one wants that risk
@whodatboi25672 жыл бұрын
@@josebaldon2537 I mentioned Floyd moreso to demonstrate that his fighting style was less risk averse than Adesanya thus putting them in the same category in terms of performance is inaccurate.

Psychologically, MMA is one of the most challenging and damaging sports anyone can engage in. The highs are so high and the lows are mentally crippling, especially how the fighter deals with it. Then the challenge after retirement of trying to get the same buzz of a win in a fight can lead to PTSD levels of stress which often causes addiction or other destructive behaviour. Fighters are indeed a special breed.

Essentially, He is technically great but not the most exciting fighter as he is less likely to go for risky maneuvers and will instead attempt to prioritise safer movements. Then there is his trash talk which almost all champs do but its a problem when nothing that is said is followed up on. As a fighter, Top Tier. As an entertainer, Meh.

You want entertainment watch WWE. the point of UFC is to win. Like anyone is gonna risk getting hurt just so some rando at home is entertained. Well, that's the majority of the problem. Most people that watch are absolute casuals, myself included. (Although I do have a few years training) Same with Demetrius Johnson. He's not boring, he's amazing. It's just that our instant gratification society gets bored if someone isn't doing backflips or shitting their pants
