The "Palestinian" Authority can't even be counted on to repair streets or pick up trash. They're too busy plotting terrorist attacks, evidently. The "Palestinians" - who are mostly from neighboring nations like Jordan - were offered two rather drastic peace treaties by Israel, and both were turned down. Either because war was much too good a tool to the radicals there, or to Iran who fund and direct them, or both. I'll warn you like I warn everyone. The Earth is in the same shape it was before WWII, but with weapons of mass destruction the stakes are much higher. A time of trouble is going to fill everyone on the planet with fear, could well be from a Russian-Iranian-Turkish-Arab invasion of Israel. A charming man is going to convince the world that he is the best one to deal with the global situation, and persuade the nations of the world that he should be in control. He will establish a peace treaty between Israel and the Arabs which will allow the Jews to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. Then just 3.5 years later, he will stand in the Holy place declaring himself to be God, and demand the worship of the entire Human race. He will wage war against those who resist him, and without his symbol on your body, you won't be able to have a job or buy anything, like food. If you live long enough to see this happen, then you will know that Jesus is Lord of All, and will return in a few years to destroy this son of Satan, and reclaim His universe. Then, He will bring true peace to the Earth.

Thanks for the news, but "The time of Jacob's trouble/distress" is one day, a day like none other" (Jer 30:7), and refers to "The Day of The Lord", which is the day when Jesus returns to rapture rapture-gather His people (2ZTh 2:1-2), from out of the extremities of heaven and earth with a "Great Trumpet" (Mt 24:31). Jesus called this day, "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39-40,44,54), because it is the day when the present heavens and earth will be burned-up with intense heat (2Pet 3:10-12).
