Hi GT, me again 555. Both peach and apricot tree leaves are generally oval-shaped and serrated, apricot leaves tend to be slightly wider and more rounded at the base compared to peach leaves, which can appear more pointed and have a little narrower shape; Additionally, your apricot leaves might have a slightly more pronounced "point" at the tip, a lady finger shape, therefor what I see is peach. Crunching the leaves of both will give you the scent of the fruit in question.

Its sad evil world we are living in presently. I try not follow geopolitics but am aware Thailand is now a member of BRICS as well as Russia and China and not sure but think Iran is as well. But as my old mother used say dont worry about something you cant change. But hopefully this can be sorted out. But where I live thousands (5k to 8k) of Israelis have moved to live in the last year as if they are aware of something. Good on you being prepared its some thing we all should do. I heard you mention Irish butter I love Kerrygold I would love lead where I could source it Gordon.

At Big-C and Lotus's, the price of carrots is much less than for potatoes. Do you have any idea why this is?

Hi Andrew, if anything it would be a very old diesel Pick up modern vehicles are susceptible to an EMP pulse. And we already have Jatropha curcas that makes pure oil to run it on. GT

When you say that you have six months of food in storage, is that calculated assuming that if the s*it ever hits the fans every member of May's family will come pitch their tents in your yard? An Asian's reaction to anything upsetting is to share the experience with family and neighbors. If your house and land are the biggest in May's family, that's where everybody will pull the wagons into a circle and hunker down. The price of petrol going up is certainly not the end of the world, but if (God forbid) anything apocalyptic were to actually take place your Farnham's Freehold will be crowded.
@gordontickle16732 ай бұрын
Hi Steve, you are of course quite right, However Mays family are very adept at foraging from the rivers and jungles as are many rural Thais they are hunter gatherers, I am the odd one out in that respect. My attitude is a simple one By having food medication fuel and general provisions I have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. Stay well Steve you live next to natures bounty (the sea). @@gordontickle1673 Oh heck no. I went through a phase of reading post-apocalyptic science fiction as a teen. In New Mexico I lived next to a world-class prepper who had three shipping containers full of supplies buried in a secret location in the Chihuahua desert. Hell, I worked for the Army for eight years, and every soldier is a natural prepper. Of course, their bug-out bags hold only weapons. In the Mad Max scenario they will just take what they want from other survivors who stocked up on antibiotics and not bullets. But I have never wanted to survive any such event. I hated camping when my son was in Scouts. I hate guns. I have never been able to keep a houseplant alive, let alone cultivate a garden that would provide enough produce to feed me and leave some to barter for tools and protein. I would die quickly in the nuclear winter. Best to die in the first blast.
