I am a retired psych nurse and with tears I listened to what Gods children went thru. I have worked with traumatized children but nothing like what these kids went thru. I pray for all but esp for you and your staff. What a tremendous heart breaking job you have. Jesus loves His children and He is there beside you, your staff, the children. We dont know why things happen, we only can rely on God to help recover from the horror done to others. I have had years of therapy and the symptoms are slow torture and far worse than the abuse itself. Lord I pray with many mothers thst you will bring healing to these families. As a preschool teacher and mother myself it kills me to see and hear what those poor children have been through.😰 I can’t imagine the trauma, horror, pain and sorrow they went through! Many of them have seen their parents, grandmothers, grandfathers, neighbours being slaughtered. And then to be kidnapped by thoses who butchered your familymembers and friends. It’s like living your own worst, horrifying nightmare! Then to be taken through dark tunnels and being isolated in small rooms… not knowing what will happening to you or if any of your family survived!😢 That is soul wrecking!!! You have to almost shut down mentally and emotionally to survive this! It will take a long, long time to heal from this… if ever! My thought, love and prayers are with the children, all victims, victims family and friends, IDF soldiers, all the hostages and all precious people in Israel! I don’t know how Dr, Efrat was able to speak and not cry during her session with the press. How can the Jewish people whose values have always been ‘Tikun Olam’, be expected to continue to love and care for our world -wide neighbors knowing and now experiencing, that our ‘neighbors’ want us all dead? These poor, innocent, impressionable children, as well as ALL the hostages ( teens, grown adults) will now have nightmares and PTSD for the rest of their lives.
