I am confused. Gaza’s food supply has always been through international aid. More aid is going into Gaza now than before the war. Over 3000 calories a day, for every man, woman and child. Granted, Hamas steals some of it, as pretty much any military would likely do during wartime, plenty of food and water is getting in. These are verifiable statistics. Half the population was just moved ahead of the Raffa operation and is clearly being fed and housed. Why do we see resolutions around food as a concern without Hamas being named as the reason some aid may fail to be fully distributed? While I support Israel’s need to remove ongoing threat to it’s people, I’m not blind to the fact that Gaza residents are at the mercy of the terrorist regime governing it. Any challenges to food supply distribution rest with Hamas. It makes no sense to me that resolutions aren’t addressing actual barriers or DEMANDING the release of all hostages. Again, just very confusing.
