They don’t even get a voice, because they are a murderous terrorist organisation who aren’t internationally recognised as a legitimate governing body seeing as how they cancelled all elections after they won one. Israel on the other hand is supposed to be held to the same standard as every other nation state. They are supposed to have borders, they are supposed to abide by international laws, they are not supposed to run a system of military enforced segregation on land outside their internationally recognised borders, they are not supposed to use extreme military force as a first resort, they are expected to resolve conflicts through negotiation, they are expected to own the mistakes they made ignoring repeated warnings about Oct7, on exactly what was happening and how it was going to happen. They had footage of the practice runs and were told the day before that the fighters were getting in position. And importantly there is supposed to be a sense of proportionality when engaging an enemy who has no effective means of fighting back and is basically a civilian militia in a civilian population. So far Israel has responded just as Hamas would if the tables were turned. An insane bloodlust that ultimately hurts their legitimacy and long term survival.
