It is long past time for China to bring balance to the Middle East - they should be sending a fleet to the Persian Gulf to defend its interests in the region, similar to the USA - that is how the old Soviet Union and USA did things and it kept peace; both blocs would help the infrastructure of their friends - with the dysfunctional USA now there is no balance and all it takes is one accidental move to start outright war.
