The use of GPS has now become a “risk” for airlines flying across the Middle East as Israel can disrupt the GPS signals causing errors in determining the location of the aircraft. These errors could have serious consequences on the safety of the aircraft as the pilot is no longer certain of his exact location. The Inertial Navigation System on the aircraft can no longer be corrected by the GPS and impose uncertainty on the margin of errors caused by the INS. China’s BeiDou system is not affected because Israel cannot disrupt its signals and more and more airlines will be using it as navigation system since BeiDou is not affected by Israel’s action but it is also 3x more accurate in determining the location than the GPS. The dominance of GPS is over as it becomes a risk for airlines.

While I don't doubt that Israel would interfere with GPS signals, if this is true it would have to be more complicated than simply blocking. That's because Google Maps doesn't purely rely on GPS to determine location. It also uses both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which provides much better location accuracy where GPS signals are blocked due to tall buildings!

Garmin's first GPS unit wasn't released until 1998. GPS units for automobiles came around 2004. Additionally, in 1993, eLORAN and Inertial navigation systems were used for merchant ship navigation, since unenhanced gps was only just becoming available. GPS III wasn't rolled out until the year 2000. The first known gps spoofing attack experiment was conducted by engineers at Aerospace engineering from the Cockrell School of engineering in 2013. It is also false to believe Airliner's rely on GPS. They don't. They have GPS as partial navigation aid, but GPS approaches are not approved at most airports, and those that do approve them, are only in good weather. IRS (inertial reference systems) and ADIRS (Attitude Direction Inertial Reference Systems) are used in modern airliners. Combined with VOR and ILS approaches That said, I totally agree with the premise of your video

Do Chinese made phones from Huawai still use GPS even though they have their own Operating System? My Meshtastic tracker (from Seeed, a Chinese company) uses GPS 🇺🇸, Beidou 🇨🇳 and Glonass 🇷🇺 I think.
