The present air strikes hitting those places and the three infantry division the IDF have unleashed is the kind they never saw or experienced even in the first wave of attacks from Israel. I’m very surprised to see this… I had been expecting Israel to occupy Gaza militarily for at least a temporary period. But in any case, Defense Minister Gallant is a member of Netanyahu’s Likud Party. If members of Likud bail on Netanyahu, his government will collapse - and there will be new elections, in which the Israeli people will choose which leaders they want to make the tough post-war governing decisions.

This isn't going to lead to WW3 because neither Russia or China strongly care about Gaza. The Russia Ukraine war has a much higher chance of drawing more countries in. But China doesn't want to get involved physically in that song realistically it would be Russia Iran NK vs NATO. On conventional weapons Russia would lose. It would not turn into a long war like the others. It's just the possibility of escalating to nukes that makes it a big problem.
