Probably not a good idea to be reviewing Israeli made products. They're not exactly an ally. If youre beyond the Boomer logic of "everything is a conspiracy" then you will find this an interesting read. As you may know, Microsoft has won the bid for the Pentagon Cloud contract. Also known as Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) See link here: www.google.com/amp/s/www.geekwire.com/2019/jedi-explaining-10b-military-cloud-contract-microsoft-just-won-amazon/amp/ It appears that despite the many shortcomings of the company, Microsoft has won the bid over Amazon. Which is surprising as it is not favored well in the IT industry for various reasons. Moving on, it is interesting to note that Microsoft purchased an Israeli company Addallom back in 2015 blogs.microsoft.com/blog/2015/09/08/microsoft-acquires-adallom-to-advance-identity-and-security-in-the-cloud/ What was Addallom? It was a cloud security company, purchased and rebranded as Microsoft Cloud App Security, or Microsoft Israel. They now are the main R&D center for cloud app security, AI etc. for Microsoft. blogs.microsoft.com/blog/2015/09/08/microsoft-acquires-adallom-to-advance-identity-and-security-in-the-cloud/ While this may seem normal at the surface, a few glaring things stick out. Firstly the CEO of Microsoft Israel goes by the name of Assaf Rappaport. He is a veteran Captain of the Elite Unit 8200 intelligence unit in the Israeli Defense Forces. www.microsoftrnd.co.il/whoweare#Leadership The CTO goes by the name of Ami Luttwak who was a graduate of the Military Talpiot program and Captain of the technological unit of the Israeli Defense Forces. What is Unit 8200? It is the Central Collection Unit of the Intelligence Corps, and it is sometimes referred to as Israeli SIGINT National Unit (ISNU).[1] It is subordinate to Aman, the military intelligence directorate. According to the Director of Military Sciences at the Royal United Services Institute, "Unit 8200 is probably the foremost technical intelligence agency in the world and stands on a par with the NSA in everything except scale."[6] Here's the Wikipedia article for reference. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_8200 Essentially an intelligence agency. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talpiot_program here is another Wikipedia article on Talpiot. So at this point my guess is you, the reader, are starting to see some Red Flags. I do too. Which is why I feel the need to send you this information. Israel has a long history of espionage in the United States. In fact quoting the Times of Israel "The document also said that a 2013 National Intelligence Estimate on cyber threats “ranked Israel the third most aggressive intelligence service against the US” behind only China and Russia, Newsweek reported." Article for reference: www.timesofisrael.com/new-nsa-document-highlights-israeli-espionage-in-us/ There have been countless cases of Israel espionage activity in the United States. The most infamous being Jonathan Pollard who was recently released on parole after being convicted for life for espionage against the US. He was the most damaging spy in US History. The list does go on. The Lavon Affair is another which allegedly the Israeli government had no knowledge of, but their military intelligence did. Article here: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavon_Affair Another example is the case of Sandra Troian, a professor of applied physics at the California Institute of Technology who stated that the faculty ignored "reports that an Israeli spy might be working at a campus-controlled research facility so as not to jeopardize an $8 billion National Aeronautics and Space Administration contract?" "Troian says that a former postdoctoral research scholar in NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is managed by Caltech, violated federal law by sharing security-sensitive research information with an Israeli institution and on the internet." Article here for reference: www.insidehighered.com/news/2014/11/17/whistleblower-suit-alleges-caltech-allowed-suspected-spy-work-jet-lab Followed by Israeli stealing bomb grade uranium from a Pennsylvania nuclear reactor in the 1960s Also known as the Apollo affair. foreignpolicy.com/2015/03/23/what-lies-beneath-numec-apollo-zalman-shapiro/ It's also believed that one of the Jet fighter aircraft serving in the Chinese air Force, the J10, is actually an f16 which Israel is widely believed to have illegally supplied the technology to the Chinese. nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/chinas-f-16-meet-j-10-fighter-possibly-thanks-israel-48727 There is other technology widely believed to be stolen from the US by Israel and given to China. As noted by former director of the CIA James Woolsey. This includes missile technology, among other tech developed by the DOD. www.google.com/amp/s/www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1993-10-12-1993285171-story,amp.html What makes this worse is that by simply googling "China Israel Technology" and clicking the "news" tab, you can see Israel is beginning(or has been for a while) cozying up to China and sharing technology with them. We're not talking microwaves and refrigerators, were talking sophisticated technology. www.google.com/search?q=china+israel+technology&client=ms-android-tmus-us-revc&prmd=niv&sxsrf=ACYBGNRdQkGvSVAiKzsJ7WIbRTH_vq_s7Q:1578692338397&source=lnms&tbm=nws&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi8qaig__nmAhUrVt8KHeQHDXsQ_AUoAXoECAoQAQ&biw=412&bih=812&dpr=2.63 It should be noted that Microsoft is Fedramp certified and audited. Here is the purpose of Fedramp "The FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO) mission is to promote the adoption of secure cloud services across the Federal Government by providing a standardized approach to security and risk assessment." Article here www.fedramp.gov/ . While this may make some sleep easy. It is well known by the Edward Snowden leaks that intelligence agencies can simply install malware sleeper programs on the infrastructure which if sophisticated enough, will likely not be detected by Fedramp audits. Let alone the possibility of backdoors, which may have been created within the infrastructure. Or we can just be realistic and say that the simple fact that Microsoft's security infrastructure was developed by intelligence assets of a foreign nation, is a security risk. Who may I add, are well aware of the security audits and assessments utilized to prevent any malicious attacks, as well as the infrastructure (they created it).

This is my EDC gun that I've been carrying daily for over a year now. Its an awesome gun. If you live in a cold area or get cold weather, make sure to use a thin lubricant around the hammer specifically, because I found in the winter that my Frog Lube would thicken and cause some light primer strikes. Switching to thin lubricants that don't thicken in the cold fixed the problem in wintry weather. For my rig, I currently carry it in a Savoy Leather holster with the inside and outside the waistband design so I can carry in different ways. I use a Daltech Force Bullhide belt with a steel core to support the weight of the full steel gun. I seriously love this gun, it is awesome, and everyone who has ever tried it out to shoot it as well has been amazed at how good of a shooter it is. It feels amazing in the hands and is solid and reliable, an absolute tank of a pistol. I met a gun store owner who also carried one every day, and his was the polymer one, which is significantly lighter and which he really loved too. Another fun thing to know about this gun is because it can take CZ 75 magazines and run the flawlessly, you can buy the magazines that are the same size but hold 17 rounds, giving you 18 total rounds with one in the chamber. The Jericho magazines hold 16 rounds, so its an upgrade of 1 more bullet, plus CZ magazines are way easier to find and buy. I shoot all my guns like crazy, but this gun more than any of my others because it is my daily carry, and it has yet to show any kind of wear aside from slight paint lightening from the holster and the regular shooting. All the parts are still very solid. Highly recommend this gun.

I bought the full size steel frame 9mm with the frame mounted safety a while back. The gun was brand new and within the first two weeks I had put over 900 round through it. Not a single malfunction as of yet. And I've run plenty of steel and some aluminum ammo as well since then. Eats everything I feed it including some 380 ball believe it or not. Only ran four rounds of 380 ball but it did cycle them on it's own, although with noticeably less recoil. My magazines on the other hand are factory and are advertised as 16 round mags, But I noticed they have no problem holding and feeding 17 rounds. Not sure if that's a new thing, as my mags are factory IWI mags, but it was something I noticed.

Despite the finish wear and grips being worn almost flat, it still shoots superbly. New Mec-Gar CZ-75B mags work perfectly as intended, and it chugs through whatever ammo you feed it. Still have my very first handgun, similar to the one featured in this video except it's Double Action / Single Action....a IMI / Magnum Research / "Baby" Desert Eagle 9mm with full frame and short slide. Have no less than 200,000 rnds thru it without a single malfunction and still shoots just as smooth and accurate as day one. Not sure if Tim mentioned in video or not, but they have polygonal rifling which makes it a breeze to clean.

I have the .40 cal version. Such a damn beast of a gun. I have 2000 rounds through mine with no malfunctions. Israel does know how to make great firearms.

That Star of David on the side of the pistol is actually the Israeli National Police logo. Inside it, you can see the letter “מ”, which is the first letter of the Hebrew word for Police: משטרה.

I bought one of these pistols in .45acp. It wasnt surplus. It runs good but it has a slight problem when loading a full mag. you really have to slam the mag to get it to engage the mag catch. If you dont the mag will drop out. it seems as though the top round is being squashed up to the slide. the mag seems to need a little tweak to catch right . i bought a mecgar but the it was the same problem. i sent it back but i was told '' it was fine'' and nothing was done. the mag also hangs a little bit from the bottom (maybe 3/16ths of an inch). i dont know if the 9mms have the same problem but my .45 does. other than that the pistol runs good and is very reliable.

It may be just my impression, but my all-steel Jericho .45ACP feels much heavier than any of my 1911s. I also have two pistols from BUL, the other Israeli company. Their 1911 is my very favorite and I also have the Cherokee for a home defense pistol. Thanks for this really instructive video, especially the average female IDF officer.

I wish I had a huge surplus of money for all these pistols. Would love to find the perfect pistol for my hand. The grip on this one looks amazingly slim and short.

I just adore my IMI 941R... although it’s actually a MR-imported and stamped DESERT EAGLE PISTOL which is the only bad part bc it doesn’t actually say 941. Its still the bees knees bc its hand fitted and hard chromed. Trying to explain the entire history of how Magnum Research and KBi had a part in the importing and marketing of the Jericho is interesting but quite convoluted

Tim, next time you buy something from Classic will you please use a different credit card? Use your wife's card or something they won't recognize. I'm really curious if you'll receive such nice guns if your name is not recognized. They did this with the Cheetah too. Thanks! :)

Assuming it's the same, the incredibly curved trigger on the IWI pistols are so so sweet. Such great guns.

Just as a novice observer, The CZ seemed to have an UP and RIGHT muzzle flip. While all others seemed to Flip straight up. With only the polymer version seeming to have a bounce upward flip. Realizing that shooter grip and discipline account for perceived muzzle flip. Good review.

Hey there MAC, got a quick question that I can't seem to find much of an answer for, I bought I Jericho 941F at a gun show recently and something unusual came to my attention. When the Slide is locked to the rear and a fresh magazine is locked in, as in, smacked in with a little force like anyone would in a stressful situation, the slide automatically drops on the loaded mag. It's not an issue for me, as I Find it to be a handy feature, but I Can't tell if it is designed that way or if there is a fault with my particular pistol. Appreciate any information you can offer.

It's actually not the Star of David you see engraved on the slide its the logo for the Israel Police Service we have in Israel.

I love my CZ75 SAO. It comes with larger ambidextrous Thumb Safeties. They are a little hard to find. But if you like a cocked and locked 1911 and don't want to spend $$ on a Wilson 9 mm. But one of these CZs! Also you can buy the parts to convert your CZ75 or CZ 85 from CZ Custom! Cheers

Shalom from Israel, You do understand that it’s due to the fact that Israel police updated to G19 ;) Yes, all combative/defensive pistols should be Glock, all these G should be 9mm, all G 9mm should be G19. So true. Enjoy! Be blessed!

These are incredibly sexy looking handguns. The polymer framed one seems ideal for conceal carry. Being a huge Cowboy bebop fan, that’s where I first ever noticed the handgun from. The main character Spike Speigel carries it. I noticed how cool it looked and I couldn’t figure it out until someone later pointed it out to me. I’d be incredibly interested to see Airsoft gas blowback versions of these being made, both the modern and classic versions not only to have a training model to get me used to the controls and feel overall, but to also have a cool unique pistol when slinging bbs at the Airsoft field.
