"Palestine" literally doesn't exist. "Syria Palastina" was just the name of a colony of the Roman Empire. So, is Syria also part of this mythological "palestine" of yours? Or is this "palestine" actually part of Syria? And the people that got colonized by the Romans were Jews. Then, in the 7th century, the famous "muslim conquests" saw hordes of arabs invading, occupying and colonizing those lands once again, and persecuting and discriminating against the indigenous Jewish people. This went on for *1400 years,* until the last of the Islamic EMPIRES that controlled those lands, the Ottoman Empire, lost during WW1. Resulting in them losing control over their colonies. So, just like the British Empire lost control over India, the Ottoman Empire lost control of the Levant. During times in which the Levant was controlled by the various Islamic Empires, indigenous jews couldn't do certain jobs, couldn't openly practice Judaism, couldn't repair their synagogues, had to pay the Jizyia (a tax for non-muslims that could reach 50% of their possessions), couldn't pray at the only holy site in Judaism (Temple Mount, on top of which they instead built mosques) and much more... Tell me, would you be okay with jews invading Mecca and building synagogues on top of it? I assume the answer is no. So why are you OK with Muslims doing even worse against jews? Jews are STILL not allowed to pray on Temple Mount. That's why they pray at the Western Wall and not ON Temple Mount. They pray there because it's the closest place to where the Temple stood. That's because they aren't allowed to go on Temple Mount to pray. And when they do, Fatah and Hamas claim that jews are defiling "their" mosques. Simply by walking on the Temple plateu. And by the way, some of the latest conflicts were sparked precisely after Hamas decided to shoot hundreds of rockets per day, for multiple days in a row, into Israel's cities solely on the base that many jews visited Temple Mount. Which has been the holiest site in Judaism for approximately 3000 years. Many times jews tried to go back to live in their homeland. One of the times was during the Ottoman rule, where Mizrahi Jews (jews that lived in the Middle-East) bought land from the Ottoman rulers. They started farming and building communities in their indigenous land, that thay had to buy from Islamic colonizers. Yet, the Arabs that were now inhabiting the Levant didn't like this, and they brutally killed them all. One of the things you might not be aware of, is that Muslims hold a lot more antisemitic ideas than any other group. That's because of the Quran itself and muhammad (their "prophet"). Surveys show that the highest percentage of people in the West with antisemitic ideas is less than 30%, meanwhile the Middle-East reached 50%. During WW2 the Mufti of Jerusalem (which is basically like some sort of religious Islamic authority) went to live in Berlin. He met multiple times with Hitler, Goebbels &Co. He also went to visit a nazi death camp as if it was some sort of school field trip. He then created a Muslim-Nazi battalion that fought alongside the Germans. By the way, you can find photos, videos and documents about all this. In the Quaran and Hadiths there's written things like: "Jews are the descendants of apes and pigs". "Jews are the worst of all creatures". "I will expell jews and Christians from Arabia and will leave any but muslims". "The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the Gharqad tree would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews." So, you tell me if this isn't an open view on racism, etnic cleansing and genocide of jews (and Christians). And by the way, Christians are also still persecuted in the Middle-East and North Africa. Lebanon and Egypt were almost all Christians before Islam came and arabized and islamicized those lands and peoples. Now they all speak Arabic and Christians are a tiny persecuted minority. This is what colonization at its finest looks like. And just to let you avoid an obvious cognitive bias of people like you, Jews and Christians have been peacefully living in Arabia for more than 600 years before the birth of Islam. Muhammad himself grew up in contact with Jewish communities, from which he took the concept of monotheism and a bunch of other things he plagiarized in order to create his personal cult. Then, since jews didn't abandon their millernary tradition and didn't accept his newly made up cult, muhammad grew more and more resentful towards them. One of the flashpoints of this was when he decided to decapitate between 350 and 600 Arabian jews that lived in a village called Khaybar. He then took a woman whose family he just slaughtered in front of her, as his new "wife" (sex slave, which is permitted by Islamic laws). Still to this day (ironically enough) at anti-israel protests, they chant "Khaybar, Khaybar ya Yahud". Which basically means, in arabic, "Remember Khaybar, you Jew". In case you didn't realize this yet, it's a death threat based on all the violence jews faced at the hands of the islamic hordes. Which again makes it ironic since it gives even more legitimacy for jews to have their own state in their own indigenous homeland instead of living at the whims of foreign rulers. Then, in the 7th century, the famous "muslim conquests" saw hordes of arabs invading, occupying and colonizing those lands once again, and persecuting and discriminating against the indigenous Jewish people. This went on for *1400 years,* until the last of the Islamic EMPIRES that controlled those lands, the Ottoman Empire, lost during WW1. Resulting in them losing control over their colonies. So, just like the British Empire lost control over India, the Ottoman Empire lost control of the Levant. During times in which the Levant was controlled by the various Islamic Empires, indigenous jews couldn't do certain jobs, couldn't openly practice Judaism, couldn't repair their synagogues, had to pay the Jizyia (a tax for non-muslims that could reach 50% of their possessions), couldn't pray at the only holy site in Judaism (Temple Mount, on top of which they instead built mosques) and much more... Tell me, would you be okay with jews invading Mecca and building synagogues on top of it? I assume the answer is no. So why are you OK with Muslims doing even worse against jews? Jews are STILL not allowed to pray on Temple Mount. That's why they pray at the Western Wall and not ON Temple Mount. They pray there because it's the closest place to where the Temple stood. That's because they aren't allowed to go on Temple Mount to pray. And when they do, Fatah and Hamas claim that jews are defiling "their" mosques. Simply by walking on the Temple plateu. And by the way, some of the latest conflicts were sparked precisely after Hamas decided to shoot hundreds of rockets per day, for multiple days in a row, into Israel's cities solely on the base that many jews visited Temple Mount. Which has been the holiest site in Judaism for approximately 3000 years. Many times jews tried to go back to live in their homeland. One of the times was during the Ottoman rule, where Mizrahi Jews (jews that lived in the Middle-East) bought land from the Ottoman rulers. They started farming and building communities in their indigenous land, that thay had to buy from Islamic colonizers. Yet, the Arabs that were now inhabiting the Levant didn't like this, and they brutally killed them all. One of the things you might not be aware of, is that Muslims hold a lot more antisemitic ideas than any other group. That's because of the Quran itself and muhammad (their "prophet"). Surveys show that the highest percentage of people in the West with antisemitic ideas is less than 30%, meanwhile the Middle-East reached 50%. During WW2 the Mufti of Jerusalem (which is basically like some sort of religious Islamic authority) went to live in Berlin. He met multiple times with Hitler, Goebbels &Co. He also went to visit a nazi death camp as if it was some sort of school field trip. He then created a Muslim-Nazi battalion that fought alongside the Germans. By the way, you can find photos, videos and documents about all this. In the Quaran and Hadiths there's written things like: "Jews are the descendants of apes and pigs". "Jews are the worst of all creatures". "I will expell jews and Christians from Arabia and will leave any but muslims". "The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the Gharqad tree would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews." So, you tell me if this isn't an open view on racism, etnic cleansing and genocide of jews (and Christians). And by the way, Christians are also still persecuted in the Middle-East and North Africa. Lebanon and Egypt were almost all Christians before Islam came and arabized and islamicized those lands and peoples. Now they all speak Arabic and Christians are a tiny persecuted minority. This is what colonization at its finest looks like. And just to let you avoid an obvious cognitive bias of people like you, Jews and Christians have been peacefully living in Arabia for more than 600 years before the birth of Islam. Muhammad himself grew up in contact with Jewish communities, from which he took the concept of monotheism and a bunch of other things he plagiarized in order to create his personal cult. Then, since jews didn't abandon their millernary tradition and didn't accept his newly made up cult, muhammad grew more and more resentful towards them. One of the flashpoints of this was when he decided to decapitate between 350 and 600 Arabian jews that lived in a village called Khaybar. He then took a woman whose family he just slaughtered in front of her, as his new "wife" (sex slave, which is permitted by Islamic laws). Still to this day (ironically enough) at anti-israel protests, they chant "Khaybar, Khaybar ya Yahud". Which basically means, in arabic, "Remember Khaybar, you Jew". In case you didn't realize this yet, it's a death threat based on all the violence jews faced at the hands of the islamic hordes. Which again makes it ironic since it gives even more legitimacy for jews to have their own state in their own indigenous homeland instead of living at the whims of foreign rulers. Study history before holding such strong opinions on topics you clearly know nothing about.

Appearance and perception is everything to Israel, from getting football teams and stars to play in Israel to holding the Eurovision competition etc, they are desperate for legitimacy and to be seen as a 'normal' country, and this reception and criticism (from fans all over the world) really sets them back.
