Wow, just wow. I just can't explain what I feel after hearing this. I play violin but I'm having a hard time with finger placements and some bowing since it's so small. But I think I want to give cello a try. I just wish cellos weren't so expensive... I really want to try my hand with the cello.

Definitely I want to encourage you to follow your dreams and try out cello if you're interested! Instruments can be expensive, true, but there are many solid instrument rental programs around the country where you could acquire a solid instrument for a monthly price so that you can see how the experience feels and work on a budget for a potential instrument purchase down the road. Sure! I've been playing cello for twenty-seven years, and I studied violin and piano before that. Once I had the music in front of me, I was able to sight-read it. Probably over several days it took me about an hour of practicing to record it at this level.

Thanks! We have several. PurpleSchala has her own stereo pair (not sure what kind, maybe she will chime in) and I have an individual mic, which is a Cascade Fathead. Actually, for my other Final Fantasy vids on this channel, I got a second mic for myself, a Neumann brand condenser.
