This was the perfect interview for the “akward” girls the “sheltered” girls that had strict parents Issa just made it comfortable to just be yourself and be unapologetic about it like who cares if you’re not doing what everyone is doing and I love how she’s private about her personal and is liked and respected by so many!!! I’m looking forward to see what’s in store for Issa career wise she is doing everything for the culture but also not putting the culture in a bubble or a certain “stereotype “ and I love that !!!!

I was watching Issa from Awkward Black Girl with my crazy ass friends from college, and It so inspiring to see how she turned these small youtube clips into a break through for alot of our favorite characters. I would claim her as the New Keenan Ivory Wayans. We Change the world #I'mRootingForEverybodyBlack

One of my favorite interviews thus far. Refreshing to see someone so humble and actually not big themselves up the whole entire time like Khalid (least favorite). Issa is a whole vibe beautiful well spoken and just getting started.
