For everyone who wonders why people think Sasuke and naruto and their whole gen were nerfed. Cool he has rods that shrink and grow and cubes too. Here's the problem. It doesn't feel like he should be stronger whatsoever. Why should we as viewers believe that he's stronger? He has no feats or shows of power that should put him this far ahead of naruto and Sasuke. Hell even Lee or Sakura. In contrast all this feels like is them trying to make new enemies stronger while giving the otsutsukis op abilities. Inherently giving them abilities to absorb ninjutsu feels like a nerf within itself. At that point bring all of lee and his taijutsu followers only in to merk them. His eyes don't feel or look all that strong. On the same side of things otsutsukis use Chakra like any other being, so why is it that Sasuke can't see these rods or cubes when they are small with his sharingan? He was able to see diedaras clay with his eyes but not chakra rods or cubes?These new enemies don't feel strong at all. Instead everyone else feels way weaker than their shippuden counterparts.

Almost all of what you were trying to say is because you feel the villains are weak when the author quite literally reveals that they are strong... That's just expressing your opinions against facts. Being able to fight Naruto and Sasuke and pressure them is a great feat itself. Feats aren't just destructive capabilities. As for the black rods, Sasuke said that it's hard to track them not only because they're small but also because they're fast. If you don't like the good characters losing, then maybe OPM and DBS are suitable for you.
