For anyone wondering why Isshiki feel for this trick is because: 1. He only had seconds to live and was desperate to plant the Karma 2. He did not know Kawaki knew the Shadow Clone Technique 3. Even the Byakugan can't tell Shadow Clones apart if he had it activated (look at Neji vs Naruto fight)

If you played close attention to what neji said he didn’t say that he couldn’t tell the difference between the shadow clones he said that he couldn’t tell the difference because Naruto split up his chakra evenly between each of his shadow clones and himself which is how neji a HYUGA was able to tell the difference between shadow clones and the real things so but for an otsutsuki who has the original the full the true and the most powerful byakugan Normally he should have used his byakugan or have been able to tell the difference without it even Neji could do that though it wouldn’t have made a difference

From what I've seen in the fight no dojutsu can tell Shadow Clones part and Neji was able to figure out who was the real Naruto among the clones because that Clone( in this case the real Naruto) was always hanging out in the rear

@@MrMyth-mc1pe this is where one of Kishimoto's inconsistencies comes into play in the Naruto franchise. And honestly, it kind of feels like there's no right or direct answer. But here goes: 1. Madara has so much battle experience fighting that he can distinguish Wood and Shadow Clones from his fights with Hashirama and Tobirama (considering they both invented these techniques to counter the Sharingan), just like how Sasuke can probably tell the difference between Naruto's clone just based off so many fights 2. Madara's Edo Tensei "Hashirama Cell Powered" juiced up his Sharingan and Rinnegan to the point where it can somehow tell clones apart 3. Madara's Sharingan is just that OP as made by Kishimoto to hype him up as the legend he was made to be

@Anime Mode There’s plenty of examples of Naruto using his Shadow clones smartly. Even kid Naruto used his Shadow clones in a clever way to trick Neji in the Chunin exam. He tricked Neji into thinking one of his clones was actually him by having the clone stay at the edge of the crowd of clones, so Neji would assume that was the real one. It’s amazing that people have this idea that Naruto is a stupid fighter when he literally has more feats of intelligence in battle than any other character in the entire series. 🤦‍♂️ Even in the fight against Jigen it was his strategy that got him and Sasuke closest to actually hitting Jigen.
